That wasn’t meant to be taken literally. It only means that it is user friendly and easily accessible to a mountain of information or disinformation - whichever is the case.

No, I do not. Nor do I need to be preached at, thank you very much.

There is no ONE Christianity, you might be surprised to learn. What next, you gonna tell me I can’t be Eastern Orthodox? Many are called FRiend. And, apparently, many are SELF anointed chosen. Enjoy.

Last election millions of evangelicals stayed home rather than vote for a Mormon candidate whose faith did not adhere to Orthodox Christianity.

I doubt it. More likely they stayed home because Romney refused to take the fight to Obama and to offer a clear difference between his platform and Obama's.

He certainly does have an amnesty problem!

“Is it moral for us, for example, to take advantage of cheap labor from illegal immigrants while denying them citizenship? I’m sure you can tell from the way I phrased the question that I believe we have taken the moral low road on this issue. Some segments of our economy would virtually collapse without these undocumented workers—we all know that—yet we continue to harass and deport many individuals who are simply seeking a better life for themselves and their families.”

In other words, it looks like nothing would change on illegal immigration under a Carson Presidency.

Let me educate you - no group that claims to be the true Church is the true church. The church is made up of believers across the spectrum - wherever they choose to worship. However, there are certain truths in the Bible that are fundamental to being called a Christian - and the deity of Christ as the only begotten Son of God is one of them.

“Last election millions of evangelicals stayed home rather than vote for a Mormon candidate whose faith did not adhere to Orthodox Christianity. “

Is there any evidence for this?

I love it when someone gets right to the essence of the issue! Thanks!

Like you, my Bible says that Christ was the Creator of all things. Angels are part of His Creation.

Many people do not understand that false religions are always based on “another Jesus”

The Apostle Paul said, “If I or an angel from heaven comes to you preaching another Jesus other than the One I have preached, let him be accursed”.

Last election millions of evangelicals stayed home rather than vote for a Mormon...

So tell us when was the last election when they turned out. Did they stay home uniformly across the nation, or did they flip some states that can be identified? Inquiring minds want to know.

SDA is not outside of Christianity. They just believe in the old testament, Jewish definition of the Sabbath.

There was an abundance of articles written during the last election cycle on this. Many here at FR held that position.

I believe you are correct. She was raised in that religion, but is now a member of the Baptist Church, as is Ted.

From Christian Research Institute.

Over the years I have encountered many Seventh Day Adventists who have told me that to worship on Sunday is to take the mark of the Beast. Far from being monolithic, however, Seventh Day Adventism is multifaceted.

First, there are Adventists who are thoroughly orthodox. As such, they embrace the essentials of the historic Christian faith. While we may vigorously debate secondary issues, we are unified around the essentials for which the martyrs shed their blood.

Furthermore, there are Adventists who are thoroughly liberal. They not only compromise and confuse but consistently contradict essentials of the faith such as the virgin birth, the bodily resurrection, and the infallibility of Scripture.

Finally, there are traditionalists who major on aberrant Adventist doctrines including soul sleep, Sabbatarianism, and the seer status of Ellen G. White. In sharp distinction to soul sleep the Bible provides ample evidence that the soul continues to exist apart from the body (Philippians 1:23–24).

Likewise, God himself provided early Christians with a new pattern of worship through Christ’s resurrection on the first day of the week as well as the Spirit’s descent on Pentecost Sunday. Additionally, while Ellen White (1827–1915) claimed divine authority for her prophecies, she was obviously wrong when she prophesied that she would be alive at the second coming of Christ.

I have a lot of respect for CRI. they have much fuller articles on SDA which I think would be worth reading for anyone interested in the topic.

So we now are going to avoid voting so Hillary can be the next president because someone’s faith doesn’t match ours???

Great. Does the DiC (and his beard) commie values match any of ours? And by staying home that is what we got. I don’t know that Carson can or will be the nominee but I am so tired of this crapola when the country is collapsing, the world is on fire, and the folks are sitting around polishing the brass on a sinking ship

When are people going to wake up?

They believe in a few other things that ARE outside the mainstream of Christianity. They only hype their Saturday worship, but there are hidden things within their doctrines that you should research. I think you will find they ARE outside the mainstream Christianity.

But you have to get inside that teaching to understand that while they use the word Trinity, they believe in 3 Gods - not one God in 3 persons.
