I don’t understand all this rooting for a conference.
I like cheering for the Gophers but would never be happy about wins for Wisconsin, Iowa, or Michigan even if they are playing SEC teams.
The exception being that one other institution across my state from Auburn whose name I don't deem worthy of mentioning. I always cheer for Auburn and whatever school is playing that other team.
As one who's woefully out of touch with what passes for pop culture nowadays, what is the meaning of the song used in the B1G [insert number here] Maps commercial? The group performing is Guards -- never heard of them and the song is titled "Silver Linings". I don't see a connection with the music and the B1G conference, although it's a catchy little ditty.
Meanwhile, Florida looks like Muschamp never left.
My hogs looked like a pee-wee team against Toledo. What happened to our running game?
It’s hard to get more than one SEC team in the playoffs because we have to play each other and with so many good teams it’s a dogfight.
Big 10 and Pac 10 have one or two good teams at the best.
One dimensional? We’ve been throwing the ball more and using more wide outs along with TE’s.
If other quarterbacks can stand in the pocket as long as Allen can they’d be happy.
I don’t know what team showed up against Toledo.
Ohio State has a cup cake schedule.
If they had to play in the SEC, ditto Michigan, they would have a hard time being #1.
These days most NFL players come from the SEC.
Big 10 = Big Joke
Ohio State = Cup Cake Schedule
This is how Les would describe Romo’s win last night. Certainly he has a quality ability to perform at the back end and a real want to ascertain victory for the team
So what you are saying is half the SEC is so weak-assed you can't believe anything about the conference strength.
I'm saying the SEC West has won six national championships in about the last twelve years and the SEC East has only won three going back to the beginning of the BCS system when Tennessee won the first one in 1998.
The SEC East has not won a national championship since Florida won its last in 2008, and the West has won five since then, and two of the noramally strong East teams (Florida and Tennessee) have been down for about five years for Fla. ten or more for Tenn.
SEC isn’t so great this season because they don’t have good quarterbacks.
Ohio state would do even better in the SEC. There is only hype. Michigan state can bear the best SEC teams.
Lol. You didn’t read the article. The last couple years the SEC has been a paper tiger. This year they are just paper.
Ohio state destroyed them last year... Which year are you in?
SEC teams don’t play defense so they must really suck.
Funny. *usually*... Not this year.
They need to okay some better teams...SEC play is like incest... Over time everyone gets stupid/bad.
