Four vehicles were involved in the crash, according to NBC affiliate KPRC. The bus crashed through a guard rail and fell off a freeway, landing on its side on the road below, the station said.
The accident is under investigation. According to the school, the driver has a clean driving record, and the bus had a maintenance inspection in June.
“Thursday morning” Is this to happen in the future?
I’ve often wondered why seatbelts aren’t required on buses and someone once told me that seatbelts cause problems during rescue efforts. I don’t know if that’s the case, but it might be why they aren’t required.
School buses are indoctrination camp trains. That’s the way I see them today.
I heard an interview with a Texas State legislator who said state law requires seatbelts on school busses. But the funding was never approved because it would cost too much.
The video from Fox is horrible. The bus went off the side of an overpass and appears to be cut in half. Seat belts wouldn’t have helped.
Who were the drivers of the Buick that hit the bus and the oncoming car that forced the Buick into the side of the bus?
How much you wanna bet that at least one of them...
HISD Superintendent Terry Grier said. I ask all of the HISD community to join me in praying for all of those involved.
I wonder when the libs will speak out against Terry Grier for asking people to pray?

A woman says she was driving a Buick LeSabre on the South Loop shortly after 7 a.m.
when she believed another vehicle was venturing into her lane. The woman says she
swerved to try and avoid the other vehicle, and that is when she struck the bus.
The bus, which was heading to Furr High School, had four students on board at the time.
The bus then crashed through the guardrail, went off the freeway and landed on its side on Telephone Road.
You know, if I’m driving a bus, I am not going off a bridge to save a car.
