W, the son of “the vision thing” President, who can’t see much past his nose?

W, the reactionary but rarely able to see ahead of time the disastrous effects of his plans, including Iraq itself and his stupid invasion, changing his excuses midstream from nonexistent WMD’s to the even more ludicrous “Bush Doctrine” which went to the asheap of history as quickly as it appeared?

That W?

You do know that something like 500 tons of Saddam’s yellowcake were shipped from Iraq in 2008? Google the NYT article at the time that talks about it.

You do know that there were mortars or artillery shells found with Chem/Bio in them?

“nonexistent WMD’s?”

Oh once again ugly truth rears up to smack emotion based ignorant Leftist morons in the face

Curious how all the Leftist clowns always want to ignore the fact that all the intelligence used for the Iraq invasion was develop by the Clinton Administration in 1998 to justify bombing the hell out of Iraq in the middle of Clinton's impeachment. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/25546334/ns/world_news-mideast_n_africa/t/secret-us-mission-hauls-uranium-iraq/

Your assessment not just inaccurate, it’s also inarticulate.

Rhetoric of Sound bites.

What’s inaccurate or inarticulate about my assessment of W?

You probably think I hated everything he did. I didn’t. But most of what he did was problematic.

The one thing W did right was go after the Jihadists after 9-11 in force with a will to capture or kill. He showed the world that these crazy sabre rattlers and beheaders will flee to their caves if threatened with determined force, which is exactly what we must do against ISIS.

But after W’s initial move against the Taliban, he lapsed into the generational “Bush” thing, DIDN’T capture bin Laden when he could and should have, got his eye off the ball, lost his “vision”, went on an Iraq adventure, and got mired into the “compassionate conservatism” (read Leftist, unconstitutional acts of tyranny with gooey eyes) big-government muck.

They didn’t find ONE WMD when they invaded Iraq in May 2003!!

And that isn’t really the point either. What the hell gave Bush the right to invade another country because they allegedly had non-nuclear weapons that were not a clear and present danger to America? Do you know Bush’s answer? The idiotic “Bush Doctrine”, long since relegated to the asheap of phony “doctrines” that had NOTHING to do with what America stands for.

There’s evidence Saddam was declaring ownership of WMD’s to scare Iran.

I agree with the decision to invade Iraq and remove Saddam. Recall that he was giving $25,000 to each Palestinian that killed a Jew. Saddam was clearly a threat.

And about finding WMDs in Iraq in 2003. Have you forgotten about GEN Franks commenting about satellite photos showing a convoy of trucks heading into Syria about 3 days before we invaded?

What do you think was in those trucks, hmmm?

They NEVER FOUND ANY “WMDs” and there was NO clear and present danger to the U.S., but of course NOW there is as a DIRECT result of this stupidity.

You’re delusional if you think your unsupported assertion is conclusive.

I must have pushed a button. Maybe if you take a Valium and go to bed, you’ll feel better.

I haven’t had much time to spend on FR lately as evidenced by my profile page; however, you may want to click on my name for a WMD refresher. Thank you.

Two initial problems with W and Iraq invasion.

1) The WMD thing was inconclusive and may have been altogether a fiction. They never found any.

2) The WMD thing did not conclusively present and clear and present danger to the U.S. and did not justify a U.S. invasion.

The fallacy of what W did in Iraq, aided by the equally misguided move to pull out of Iraq once we were in there, is evident and its negative effects continues to grow over ten years later.
