Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has notified CNN that he is prepared to sue if the cable network airs a documentary about college campus rape on Sunday as scheduled, according to a letter obtained by ESPN.
"The Hunting Ground" debuted at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The documentary, in part, highlights the rape investigation against Winston while he was at Florida State and features the first public interview from Winston's accuser, Erica Kinsman.

It’s going to be tough proving that anybody watches CNN.
I don’t think that it’s an element of the offense.
my take is this is just the standard lawyer intimidation letter because the last thing Winston’ll want is lots of discovery and lots of additional scrutiny and publicity.

Nothing is going to stop CNN from trying to pick up that one extra viewer, whether it be a follower of football, #BlackLivesMatter, or #CrabLegsDontMatter.
Well suing CNN is better than spending all that money on strippers.
Or maybe not, since the only people watching are trapped in the waiting area at airports.
Additional discovery would only benefit Winston by further exposing the countless contradictory lies of the accuser. But Winston knows that CNN is not interested in serious discovery, just an inflammatory hit piece and a high profile scalp.

they would’ve saved $30m+ and never had a ounce of bad media (religiously bigoted, yes... but not criminal reports)
But if there is not a significant number of “public” to view the “documentary” his case will not fly .... like showing it in a closet!
