Watching it in the background.
Wish they would sing Christmas songs & not “I’m rotten to the core!”
With my mother now watching Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Among the crowds.
That’s what I said. It was in the background and hubby finally switched to something else. I was expecting a few pressure cookers to go off at the end though they admitted to having lots of cops and bomb sniffing dogs.
That ‘parade’ gets worse and worse. First, its mainly Broadway acts and actors promoting their shows. Then when the parade rolls its in the background! Its all about the ‘hosts’ faces on camera and the parade as a distant backdrop. Can’t they narrate off camera and show the PARADE? I put it on and wait to see Santa to officially start the Christmas season with a shot of adult beverage. Then its the dog show for real entertainment.
And then it’s pop stars lip syncing to their latest auto-tuned “hits.”
