Watch cop-hating Quentin Tarantino lie about being a tough guy in jail

Quentin Tarantino” under fire for recent comments about police violence” has claimed for decades that, as a young man, he served time in a Los Angeles County jail. One problem: The LA County Sheriffâ Department has no record of the filmmaker ever being in its system. At The Postâ request, the department searched its files back through the 1980s, when, according to Tarantino, he would have been incarcerated.

“A check of Los Angeles County Sheriffâ Department jail records revealed no evidence that Mr. Tarantino was ever incarcerated in our jail system, said Capt. Christopher Reed of the Sheriffâ Office.

Tarantino used to tell the story as evidence of his outlaw bona fides. But on a recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Tarantino, now 52, recounted it again to claim solidarity with police protesters” that he understands what it means to be frightened of cops.

Back when I was in my 20s and broke, I was a little scared of the cops, all right? Tarantino told Maher. And oftentimes, I had warrants out on me for traffic stuff that I never took care of and everything . . . Iâd get stopped, and Iâd have to do eight days in county jail.

The Post spent a week calling and e-mailing Tarantino agent, lawyer, publicists and Harvey Weinstein, who produced the directors upcoming movie,The Hateful Eight. The Post also left voice mails on Tarantinoâ personal phone line. No one responded to any of the inquiries.

As a budding film geek, Tarantino worked at LAâ Video Archives rental store for five years” a story key to his creation myth. In the Maher appearance, he said he couldnât pay his traffic tickets because he earned only $10,000 a year.

If he was ever in jail he’d be crying like a kid who lost his lollipop.

That goofy looking bastidge gave Samuel L Jackson his own personal Bad MoFo wallet to use in the diner scene in Pulp Fiction. I can imagine a couple of days in stir for Quentin the girly man. He would quickly be fought over for prison “Caitlyn”

Who’d say he’d even shower? Most likely his fans would send him Axe, that’ll keep the boys at bay.

To be fair, they need to check all the surrounding areas as well. If I went back East, I might say that I’ve done time in San Francisco. In truth, I’ve done time in Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara Counties, but never San Francisco.

I heard QT on TV twice a while ago. He had a high pitched voice. My thoughts were that he figures he is such a Hollywood hotshot and making those violent tough guy movies.....That he did not have to make the effort to talk more normally. What is more normal for a guy.

Maybe Truman Capote was his idol who he imitated
