DETROIT, Mich. — The leader of the Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple recently blogged about her medical abortion, which she carried out on Thanksgiving Day.
“I had a Thanksgiving abortion,†wrote Jex Blackmore on her blog “UnMother.†“This was good because I don’t care much for the holiday and was provided ample time off from life to recover.â€
Blackmore began blogging in mid-November, stating that she didn’t believe it was the “right time†to have a child.
“The pro-creator of this little lump lives in the middle of the desert 1,700 miles away from here, and I am one million miles away in my own head,†she wrote. “On the verge of World War Three, the deification of Kim Davis and President Trump, this is not American soup for future family.â€
The Satanic Temple leader shared about the various steps that she took to obtain the abortion, including visiting the abortion facility for an examination and pills that would end her child’s life. She expressed her objection to Michigan’s 42-hour waiting period and its requirement that women obtain information about fetal development and abortion.
Blackmore took her abortion pill on Thanksgiving Day and settled in to watch the 1988 science fiction horror film “They Live.†She later blogged about the intense pain, bleeding and nausea that she experienced for approximately seven hours until her deceased child fell out of her body.

Evil, repulsive woman. I still miss the baby boy I lost a year ago. My heart is hardening towards people like her with every disgusting abortion story I read.
What a sick and twisted monster. This is too much.
Being shot in a dark alley, being beheaded by ISIS, or nuked by North Korea should not bother her then either. She is only being told in each of these scenarios that she is not wanted, just like the child she offed.
Everyone gets this so wrong.
Their souls are not empty.
They are totally filled with putrid wickedness that revels in itself.
She is not quite right in the head, and needs our prayers. Even if you were pro-choice, you couldnt be so cold and callous as she claims to be. Not unless she is trying to cover up some deep, personal hurt. Its just so painfully obvious that this is a call for help from a very cynical, hurting soul.
I call BS. Abortion mills are not open on Thanksgiving - employees want triple time amd the day off.

In the past year or so, women who have had abortions have come out to whine about the stigma they have experienced following the abortions.
I don’t think that stories like this that advertise how cold and heartless they are towards their own children is exactly helping them to be less stigmatized. The more callous they show themselves to be, the more stigma they experience.
So if she REALLY doesn’t care, why was she careful not to look...?

Cathy I’ve seen an actual abortion. There is so much freaking blood I’m surprised the woman lives. Same with RU 486. There is blood everywhere and she’d have to clean that up. She saw the baby, the blood and what she did. The day she admits it is the day she turns pro life.
