I have the emails synched with Google.
Have you tried un-syncing and re-syncing?
If using anti-virus protection, try turning it off and then email again.

They decided to introduce their new browser - Edge - by making it the default choice in Win-10. IMO, Microsoft perfectly represents the leftist inclination to fix things that don’t need fixing and to create solutions in search of a problem. They count on business (which is the main source of their income) to remain slaves to their product and don’t really GAS about the consumer.

This link describes how to access Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and how to make it the default browser if you wish: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/open-internet-explorer-in-windows-10

LOL yeah...

Well, today I decided to run a bunch of positive news about Microsoft and Windows, to counter the negative stuff that's been current the last couple weeks. So naturally I caught hell, accused of shilling for MS. *sigh* Some days ya just can't win... :-)

“Well, today I decided to run a bunch of positive news about Microsoft and Windows”

Well, one thing is for sure: the average Windows user is going to simply be absolutely thrilled with the good news that WMF 5.0 RTM is FINALLY being released! Yea! I’m pretty sure it’s already made my Windows PC run a little bit faster! Both my email and web pages seem to be loading faster, particularly web pages from FR.

I find that XP in a VirtualBox on Linux works fine.

I'm hearing that from multiple sources. Perhaps it is time to make the switch.

I’ve also found a few Windows programs (so far) to work fine using Wine.

Noteably ImgBurn:

"ImgBurn supports all the Microsoft Windows OS's - Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (including all the 64-bit versions). If you use Wine, it should also run on Linux and other x86-based Unixes."

A few of my critical applications act strangely under Wine.

No. WMF is the backend data interface where admins and developers can access a Windows system and generate data about the installation.

If the Virtual Box allows XP to hook up to the peripherals of the real box itself, then the apps should behave well, maybe just not be completely fast.
