We were fools.
However, we BOTH just bought the Remington Hindsight 20/20!
I’m now6 down to 7 calibers, not just the 6 I listed - 5.56/7.62x51/.45acp/.357mag/12ga/.50cal - forgot the .357SIG for Glock 32, which I’m also phasing out. You’re right that they’re like “too many mouths to feed”.
In my defense, I did buy dozens of S&W model 10s, for about $100 each...
But I will always regret not getting a P210..
Laz - you definitely should get another P210. It would only cost $5,000 and it would make you happy. Alternatively you could throw away that money on a shrink for 20 sessions. The latter would be a waste because you still would be pining over it.
Merry Christmas!
Me to. :(
M&P Shield 9mm,
could be my next,
my last revolver,
A Ruger Match Champion.
Love me some .357
It’s all about looking to the Future,
New Loves,
New Loads.
Winchester 94/22 XLR. Most beautiful hunk of walnut you ever saw. Been 20 some years, and it still hurts.
Merry Christmas.
You have my empathy. I don’t have many lost loves; gotta have a love to lose her. Although there was this cute little M-16 I got to know back in Basic...
My Ruger Hindsight sits beside my Winchester Hindsight on the bench beside me. Seems like most reputable makers have licensed the Hindsight for production.
Someone I knew had a Jennings Riddance. He used to hate her, but now just calls her “good”.
(Them thangs are like whiny wiminks)
In the 1960s, I got my [West, then] German Schutzenschnur using a borrowed SIG P210-4, at that time a faitly standard weapon for the German Bundesgrenzschutz [border guards] with whom I was at that time attached pulling duty in the 5km *iron curtain* border zone. I'd have been quite happy to use an Army P1/P.38, having shot the things since I was ten years old, and having owned too many to count since I was twelve. And last time I was required to use/carry a 9mm Parabellum handgun, it was a steel-framed wartime P.38 in a US M3 tanker's shoulder holster that I hauled. My personal 210 was way too pretty for such rough-duty tasks....
