Four confirmed fatalities per Channel 5.
The sirens went off twice here in Plano, but the storm seemed to fall apart as it advanced north into our area. I suspect Allen is just getting a bit of rain.

Crazy. 10 foot snow drifts in the Texas panhandle. Winter is coming a howlin. We are going be below freezing every morning for at least two weeks. They must expect this southward polar jet stream to stay lopped down this way for awhile. According to Weather Bell major shift in January and the southeast US will be getting this winter.

My cousin and her family are currently visiting family in Weslaco, is that anywhere near the storms path Im not familiar with the area
Those kinds of drifts are not uncommon around Amarillo and Dalhart, but they are a bit out of the ordinary around here.
And people bitch about snow LOL

Comal County 73 and no winds to speak of. High tomorrow will be around 68 at 0100 then down hill through the day with the lows on Monday in the 30s. Don’t think we’ll get any of the nasty stuff but lots of friends on the road home from Christmas visits. Prayers up for all in the way of this.

It was windy, but the tornado passed about 5 miles to the East.
Pretty rough over that way, it seems however.
