Yes eerie, almost ethereal. My husband and I woke up in the air after being thrown out of bad by the Northridge earthquake. I remember thinking ‘well, I might die, but I don’t think I will die’. Not a real near death experience I guess, but I wasn’t afraid. When we got our son from his room and brought him into ours, we just hunkered down for the second quake (two 6.7’s within minutes of each other). It was several days later that I finally cried at the thought of what could have happened.......60+ people died in that quake. We were some of the lucky ones, just thousands of dollars damage to the house and contents.
Oh my gosh. Wow; so glad you survived and prayers that you have completely recovered.

I remember after the trial was over, Marcia Clark lamented that she knew she would have an uphill battle prosecuting Simpson becasue of the low IQ of the jury members. She called them 'moon rocks'.
It is staggering to me to see how deeply, deeply ingrained racism is within the Black community. How sad and disturbing it is that Blacks are enslaved by this notion that everyone is against them simply because they are black. Are non-Blacks disturbed by Black culture which is saturated in violence, wanton sexual immorality with 70% of Black born out of wedlock (although other races are catching up).
I am so disappointed that oftentimes even within the Black cultural leadership, such as pastors, they harbor this racist code, albeit discreetly, within their spiritual congregations.
I have seen it more times than I can count, I or some other white person is walking with a Black person, and passes another Black person, those two Blacks will greet each other in some way and not even bother to acknowledge the other person. Again, it is this Black code that harbors and continually incubates this racist sentiment that is so troubling.
Like the Palestinian infants who are taught to hate the Jew, likewise, from the moment of their birth each Black is taught to hold hate and prejudice believing in their hearts that they are completely justified in their deep grievance. And that deep sense of grievance never, ever goes away.
Yes, I know I hold only part of the equation, but from my vantage point it sure seems like the White community has put forth a noble effort over the last 100 or so years to treat those of Color with respect and correct any long ago injustices. Meanwhile, Blacks seem only capable of harboring ill will as that is what they are taught, with the help of White liberals who wish to forever leverage their grievances for selfish, mendacious political gain.
Finally, there are many other minorities in this nation of 330 million. Almost without exception each other minority has leap-frogged the Black community in terms of social and economic progress. Even in the Hispanic community it is evident they are making economic strides well beyond the Black community at a pace that vastly exceeds the generations of Black’s efforts.
Another slow speed waste of time? You couldn't pay me to watch anything to do with Simpson(any Simpson) they leach the life out of you.
If only we could convert more ignorant racist leftist negros into ambitiously studious voters, blacks could get off the endangered species list they’ve jumped onto supporting leftists who promote their children’s deaths and are about to kick them to the curb for the Hispanic vote.

From reading title, I was expecting Gooding to explain how badly OJ had suffered.

For example, script writers can now easily google for accurate info. That was not always the case.

Who started the "Innocence Project" and has perhaps redeemed his Karma.
They have used the DNA technology which they attempted to pick apart in the O.J. Simpson trial to free innocent people from Prison. Whatever bad he did in the trial is now being offset by the good things he has done in freeing innocent people.
It’s impossible to imagine that he’s not receiving flak from some in the black community for saying this.
Maybe Gooding inadvertently received a dose of good-ness and sanity when he played Ben Carson in “Gifted Hands”.
