Why?
Because as a white make he will be discriminated all his life and not have the same opportunities as others because of his plumbing...
She should take some consolation with the thought that now she can look forward to being dumber than her son.
Do you get paid by NY Magazine to promote their crap? Two articles in a row.
Goodness Lady, just go to Planned Parenthood and then give it another try. What a friggin loon, poor kid if he makes it out alive.
Did I see that she referred to the clump of cells Fetus as a Baby Boy? I guess that’s progress.
And they were hilarious.
That, to use the term very loosely, lady is mentally ill. And so is, in my opinion, her husband.
Heck my wife and I started with a son and wanted a daughter next badly....well number 2 was a boy.....so we tried again.....number 3 was a boy......well we tried again.....number 4 was a girl. yeah. We stopped after 4. I am glad we have 4.....had we had a girl after 2, we might only have 2 children....God knows what he is doing. You just have to trust with everything.
I had a friend who had five younger brothers. After six boys they finally got one girl.
We’re having a boy..really wanted a boy but if girl, would’ve been just as happily blessed.
We struggled for long time to have our one/only baby & to read articles like this..makes me sad/angry at same time.
What is wrong with these people!??
You are so right.
Three times I was asked, “Do you want a boy or a girl?”
Three times I answered, “What I want is HEALTHY wife and a HEALTHY baby..period.”
Three times I hit the jackpot.
That was enough.
If gender disappointment occurs on child number one, the parent has a problem and should seek help. Clearly they weren’t wanting to parent a child; they had other desires that might affect their ability to parent.
However, let’s be real. If a couple has several children of one gender, yes, gender disappointment is a thing. A thing that really hurts. Good to get it over with at the ultrasound, then by the time the next little brother or sister arrives, you can be ready for the beautiful individual who is arriving.
It is normal to want to parent both genders. Especially of your gender. People feel very guilty when they have gender disappointment and they should go easy on themselves. They love their all of a kind children but long for a son or a daughter. It’s just one of those sadnesses that their friends or family don’t respect. If they voice it, people will say stupid things like “Be grateful for the children you do have,” and stuff. They should say, yeah, that sucks, I get it, and buy them a beer or a coffee.
Wow. As long as we could have children, we would have continued too. Now that I have one going to college next year, I kinda wish we did have more. We thought 4 was a lot but it really isn’t once they start getting older and begin to leave the nest.
Sorry for your disappointment lady. On the bright side, you’re still dumber than your wallpaper.
You are disappointed about having a boy because you are a self centered narcissistic blank. You want a girl because you want a clone of yourself, whom you hope turns out to he a better version of yourself. And since you are female you want any child to also be female.
Some people really should not have kids.
You just have to trust with everything.
This article is lib drivel.
God Bless you and your wonderful family.
God Bless us all.
His will be done be it BOY or GIRL.
xo
Gratias.
I was excited every time I found out that my wife was having a healthy son - the best news in the world.

Having received real bad news during several of my wife’s ob/gyn visits, I worry about anyone who takes either “boy” or “girl” as disappointing news in any way.
