Being from NC, I wanted Carolina to win, but I LOVE Russell Wilson! He played for NC State from 2007-2010 and graduated from there in 3 years. I am a State fan and enjoyed watching him bring the team back time and time again, just like he almost did today. He has that special "never give up" quality that you can see in Cam Newton, also.

Because he still wanted to try his hand at baseball, he accepted an offer to go to sprig training with the Rockies in 2011 and the head coach released him from this scholarship. When baseball did not work out, he ended up spending his final year of NCAA eligibility at the University of Wisconsin. He went from there to Seattle where this QB who many said was too short to play in the NFL helped them win a Super Bowl!
