My first hope was Trump/Cruz, but thinking with the recent back and forth, Cruz is a no go for VP. (Supreme Court - absolutely)

Two words: Maurice Clemmons.

Huck deserves nothing except to be kicked in the nuts every 5 minutes for the rest of his life by the families of the Lakewood Four. He is worse than useless.

(For those who don’t know...the Lakewood Four are the four Lakewood, WA police officers Maurice Clemmons killed in cold blood at a coffee shop back a few years ago. This ‘son of Obama/Holder’s People/thug’ was given early release from prison by Huck, even though they KNEW he was dangerous. Thankfully, this feral ape was killed by a Seattle police officer a couple of days later.)

Totally agree. Additional reasons:

1. Jeff Sessions is already a highly effective U.S. Senator. He's also old and white.
   
2. Allen West isn't afraid to use the bully pulpit. He'd be a great one-two punch for Trump.
   
3. By the General Election, Trump could even tone things down a notch or two and let West specialize in throwing the red meat.

Trump could make a choice outside the Republican party. He’s gotten pretty shabby treatment from them, so I doubt he has any real loyalty to them.

I wonder how a ticket like Trump/Webb would go over with American voters. I wouldn’t like it at all, but it would give Democrats who don’t like Hillary or Sanders a reason to vote for Trump.

The VP slot is a joke to begin with, ceremonial at best and the president's dumping ground at worst. I can't get the image of Vice President Huckleberry, which is exactly what people will start calling the poor guy, out of my head. He's not a joke but he is kind of like a cartoon character. A few of steps ahead of Joe "Stand up, Chuck!" Biden.

I'm sure Mike Hucklebee is a nice guy and I think he has some good ideas on some things, but I don't see him as Trump's #2. Trump is a risk-taker and he'll roll the dice on a good #2. Going with Huckleberry is like picking a partner in badminton doubles. Trump will pick a woman, a hispanic, a black, a rodeo rider (just kidding on that last one!) but someone to shake up the game.

If Trump is the nominee, he'll pick a winner for VP for sure.
