Oh, probably a well rehearsed plant to emulate Hillary and her “surprise” questions!

We need to completely get rid of ALL farm subsidies

Few people know about farm subsidies. Any politician in the upper midwest who opposes farm subsidies better have large support in other areas.

I don't know the ins and outs of all the subsidies. Maybe some are justified, but I sure don't like the ethanol subsidy.

I've had to have three small engines repaired "thanks" to ethanol. The guy who repaired them said he saw a huge boom in his business after ethanol was added to gasoline. Only use premium (no ethanol) gas on your small engines.

It happened before, with another presidential candidate, several times. In all cases the outcome was identical - people who sued were found to have no standing. Don’t keep your hopes high.

The Cruz’s are as bad as the Obamas for traveling all over the world, laying claim to every country they landed in. Rafeal even left wife and little Ted alone for several years while he ‘found’ himself...good Christian and all that.....

But wait a minute, Ted Cruz was a dick when he was a freshman in college!

They're probably trying to find out if he took some other kids cookie when he was in kindergarten. And they'd use it if they thought they could get some advantage out of it.

He had no trouble getting into school.

He is an American by birth under the law in effect.

Mother, American Citizen, gives birth while across an international boundary, working. Returns to America, baby grows up in America and goes to college.

Not a problem at all because he was as American as I am.

It ain’t about soil.

Trump/Tribe lied.

Lawsuits nothing more than a stupid nuisance.

Trump/Tribe lied about that, too, trying to make a bogey man out of stupid nuisance lawsuits.

If any, they will have the same standing as your FR posts.

Zero.

I never dabbled in the birther issue with Obama...there was no proof he was not born on US soil, unlike Ted Cruz who was born in Canada. So I have no ‘hopes’ about it. I do find it smarmy as hell that so many Cruz fans pitched a fit over Obama ALL THOSE YEARS.

Ted is the smartest guy in the room, no matter what room he walks into, especially the Senate Chamber.

What you witnessed there is a Man having his mind changed by facts and reason, no doubt.

“He had no trouble getting into school.”

My question was, ‘what document did he USE to enroll in school’????? There is nothing issued to him that shows he is a US citizen, right? Did he use his Canadian BC.....a year ago, he acted like he didn’t know he was born in Canada, NEVER disclosed that when running for Senate.

Well? What documentation does Ted Cruz officially use? Curious minds would like to know.

Ted is too good to waste on the presidency. You should nominate him for Pope. /s

“Ethanol doesn’t matter to 99.99% of the population.”

No, but honesty, integrity and consistency should matter to us.

And that’s why I’ll never support Trump. He’s an excellent salesman, able to change his message to suit the customer. He doesn’t actually have any core beliefs beyond “close the deal.”

The page you posted has a great video of Cruz talking to an Iowa voter! Here’s the direct YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi5IZ9StVUI

I like the argument based on principle: end all subsidies. And the awareness that the economy isn’t a zero-sum game - reduce crippling regulations and everybody comes out ahead.

Listen in to the facts on ethanol and why it is dangerous to America!

Right, the country is burning down to the ground. We are being flooded with illegals from every third world country in existence, we have a $20T debt and all candidates but one is a one worlder, Trump. But you go ahead get your self all in a panic over ethanol subsidies. About the time you understand the real issues, it will be all over anyway. It is getting harder and harder to take you people seriously

>>>Ted is too good to waste on the presidency. You should nominate him for Pope. /s<<<

Nope, I have no respect for the Pope and I am of the Catholic Faith.

Since Cruz is my first choice and Trump is my second choice, I will defend both of them as warranted.

Thankfully, I am Immune to both the CDS and TDS Virus Strains. (tagline)

Whether you support Cruz or not, you must admit that his discussion with the Iowa Corn Farmer was reasoned, specific and something that most if not all of us could agree with.

I think he did an excellent job and I believe he changed that Man’s viewpoint. Just my opinion and you may disagree. So be it.

Just so you know, my State CA is so far down the Primary path that I believe the Republican Nominee will be a lock before I ever get to Vote.

I also think that both Cruz and Trump actually care more about the future of our Country than attaining Political Power for the sake of benefitting themselves.

I guess this makes me either a Crumpster or a Truzer.

I’d have explained it differently.

Corn is FOOD, not fuel!

The Federal government has no business subsidizing Corn to make it a fuel.

Corn as a fuel:
-screws up engines,
-reduces gas mileage,
-costs more to turn into fuel than petroleum,
-passes that cost on to consumers,
-does NOTHING to control pollution because with the reduced mileage the
“pollutants per mile” don’t improve!
