Because you meant "or", as opposed to "of"?

You didn't miss much on the "greatest commercials" special.

This is SB 50, but besides the 1979 coke Joe Greene commercial, and the asinine "wassup" commercial of 1995, they were mostly from the last decade.

To make it WORSE, they featured upcoming 2016 commercials.

Come on!

There were great commercials from the 70s and 80s that were totally overlooked.

Where were the Bud Bowl commercials?

Apparently Coca Cola and McDonalds simply bought ad time to rehash stale commercials that weren't that clever even at the time.

Could have made a great "special" that featured ads from the last 50 years."

Perhaps they thought the average person is plain stupid, with no recollection of anything that happened 20 years ago.

Thanks, but I’m not exactly a fan of commercials. Damn near all of them are just plain stupid and all-around awful. In fact, I not long along went without TV for a period of about 2 years largely to avoid seeing them. As I do now I relied on watching movies and TV shows from the PC where I can watch what I want, when I want, without the dopey commercials. However, I do know and fully appreciate that there have been SOME commercials (a comparatively minuscule number) over the years that were actually very good, even great.

As for Super Bowl 50, obviously a very special anniversary year, darn shame they don’t have some iconic performer from the good old days of music doing the halftime show. There are plenty of them still around who are performing well. Instead, they have some dopey, comparatively new (last 10 or so years I just yesterday learned), garbage band like “Coldplay” scheduled to do it, with that slutty, overrated Beyonce joining in at some point. And to sing the National Anthem,... Lady Gaga!

I will try my best to avoid both, but may give a brief check on Gaga at the beginning. Something tells me she may do a better job of it than I’m expecting.
