It just goes to show how school-aged kids are trying pot these days, just like they did in the ‘70s. However, violence wasn’t thought of as a possible side-effect the way it is today. My instincts tell me that the violence has nothing at all to do with smoking pot, unless it’s being used by extremely shallow and weak-minded kids.

I've seen (and fought) exponentially more violent/delusional people at bars and shows with heavy drinking.
Every cop I met that works venues says the same- They'd rather work a smoking crowd than drinking crowd any day.
IMO, the crazy are simply more likely to use pot to self medicate. Like they do with alcohol and cigs. It doesn't actually made healthy people crazy.

If you don’t know the answer to that, your 70 percent statistic falls into the category of meaningless data point.

All of them had their first panic attacks after smoking pot.
They were always the easy ones to cure.
The last time it happened, a fellow I had known for some time came to our fishing camp with some friends and they started smoking. I had always known him to be a hard working and convivial person. For no particular reason,another person brought out a prototype of a little gadget that prevented plastic grocery bags from leaning over and spilling everything in the back seat.
The one fellow suddenly became obsessed with it jumping up and down on how we had to drop what we were doing and generate drawings, email it to a lawyer, sign secrecy agreements because 150 million cars meant we were going to split $400 million. Over the course of 60 minutes or so, he was consoled 3 or 4 times and settled down but each time he would spring up and start shaking everyone on why we were not jumping to our feet to launch this venture.
It eventually came to fisticuffs and blood was drawn.
Hows that for seeing someone turn psychotic on pot? Manic, paranoid, delusional, irrational, anger - it was all there.

OK, that’s not just ‘some woman I know’ if you have that kind of access to her patients’ histories, what percentage of them are potheads, how many (none) that had issues with anxiety before pot, cure rates and the like.
You must be a patient or the husband (I guess paramour is possible as well) to have that level of detail.
I’m a bit skeptical of the numbers. But only because I am still friends with some folks that I knew BC (Before Cannabis) and today they have the same base personalities as before. That is, of course, anecdotal only.

The pot they have these days is not the same. Skunk weed would never exist in nature. It is grown under lab conditions and the evidence shows that it is really making some of the heavy users just plain crazy.
I am not a man, a patient or a paramour.
I stated what I know from experience and whether you believe it or not matters little to me.
Not meaning to sound rude but I am not in the mood to argue this.
