I’d rather God be on our side.
This election cycle Nationalism “Trumps” Conservatism. There are bigger things at stake this time around. We don’t have the luxury anymore to be purist. We need someone who is going to look out for this country, and if he isn’t the perfect conservative, then so be it. If Trump does what he says he’ll do, then we can get back to worrying about who the best conservative is in due time. But right now, we need a damned tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Trump repeating what a female in the audience called out is not even measurable all things considered.

Trump’s campaign is nothing more than an audition for his next reality show, the president of the United States. If the American audience wants entertainment he’ll give them entertainment.

People just do not understand the value of poetic profanity. I remember standing for muster one morning and an E-6 let loose with a paragraph of profanity where the F word was used as every word of speech. Other profane words were added for clarity.
It made sense, was a thing of beauty, and we got the point.

Context is everything. Like the commonly used expression, ‘it sucks.” Everyone assumes it is a metaphor for a sodomistic sex practice, but I think it has its roots in the expression “suck eggs” as in “he ain’t nothin but a low down egg suckin dog.”
If it makes sense and was a thing of beauty than I’m sure you wouldn’t have a problem with your children or grandchildren using the same language.
If you don’t believe that G-d is on the side of the United States soldier, if you don’t believe that G-d is alive on every oil rig and at the top of every tower, then you are a knave.
These men are prayed home from every deployment and home at the end of every shift. THEY pray before stepping into danger. And we all say prayers of gratitude when they come home whole and safe.
These men pray more than the average American because that’s the core of their courage. (That, and really huge gonads.)

Don’t bother to thank a soldier. You wouldn’t approve if the harsh language that they used when they saw their buddy blown up. I hear that they cuss quite a bit when they lose their legs, too. My son took a fall with another climber just two weeks ago and you’d be horrified at what came out of their mouths on the way down. My son just spent the night at the bedside of a friend with a brain bleed. Praying.

I am not a prude, dude. Nor am I unaware that they most likely regularly curse when not in my presence.
I know a bunch of baptists who do not drink, smoke, cuss, play cards, see movies, celebrate halloween, or display any other manner of sinfulness, but will righteously poach deer every year. And not a few of them are divorced.
So, get off your high horse. Everybody has a vice or three.
Now is the time to seek the LORD.
