It got down to a bone chilling 47 degrees in Benderville this morning. Did I tell you I just phone call from my son and he was walking behind Jack Roush in the pit area. He will be watching the race from the Hendricks suite just across the track from the 3rd row of pits...
I didn’t read all the posts to see if you had posted on the thread but did you get the ping on remembering (Brian) 68-69 Gulf of Tonkin Yacht Club?

Thanks for the link. Did you know that I am only 450 points out of FIRST PLACE hdx2
I’d worry about the guy only 15 points behind ya.
Not worried at all. I heard he has the mange and distemper and was last seen foaming at the mouth
True that and that’s all the more reason to worry. Got our Sonoma package today. I hope its warm down there. Its not here but we still have baby quail all over the yard.
I hope it’s not the weekend its supposed to rain down there?
Forecast now is for sunshine and temps around 90 for the entire week in Sonoma. Snow is in the forecast for Oregon (really) with up to 4” possible at Timberline Lodge. Motorists are advised to have their tire chains in their cars....
Gotta figure out who to run at Sonoma.
As we count down the days to Sonoma it’s becoming increasingly clear that it is NOT going to rain in Sonoma. Instead the heat wave in Cali will persist and so some high SP will be in vogue.
If you want to waste some time and see Dale Jr’s ridiculous new “Lion” dog and other silly tweet photos then here ya go:
Not now dear I have a headache...
According to Mama:
489 posts on Fazebook of Race Fans offering to take care of the perps! As of last night.
Not good.
Some very sad news here. Our churches lead Pastor’s oldest son was killed in a single-car roll-over crash Thursday. Son was a shining star & active in missions and a member of a Christian band. I can’t begin to imagine the sorrow and pain to lose a son much less just before Father’s Day.
First off, Prayers up for Your Pastor & Family.
2nd:Re Mike Wallace attack.
Official statement from PNC Music Pavilion:
We were saddened by the regrettable events that took place on Friday, June 17. Upon learning that the offensive actions were taken by patrons who also happened to be employed by Lucas Landscaping, one of our service providers, we took swift and immediate action to terminate services provided by Lucas Landscaping at PNC Music Pavilion.
Not trying to pop Your bubble but that is not JR’s dog it”s Amy’s. JR has an Irish Setter and the Buffalo’s IIRC, Lavern & Shirley.
The setter is a beaut but the new addition is way down on my selection list. It looks a bit “yappy” but as long as it’s happy then ok. If it’s Amy’s then doubly so.
Forecasted temps for the Sonoma race & area are 90+ with 107 degrees a few days after. If you see a guy & gal with their feet in an ice cooler at turn 2 that’ll be us.
Mama hates the little dustmop- it’s name is Junebug.
Reminds Me of Texas.
LOL! Toss some Dry Ice in Yer cooler for smoke effect, maybe it will cause a “competition caution” ;)
Have fun and stay safe!
Thank you Sir. It’s been too long since we smelled exhausted Sunoco fuel.
Dustmop. I like it.
Speaking of dustmops I picture you as a cross between number 2 and number 7. Me? I think I have a little bit of all of them in me so I guess I’m truly a Heinz 57.
