Ted shown his true colors
I suspected him a month or so ago of being GOPe, and everyone got mad at me. I was told he was different....
Looks like I was right after all
I’m talking about a lot of freepers here not people outside of this forum whom I don’t know. And the comments were disgusting.
I usually don’t reply to morons but when I do, it’s because they make a cheap, unfounded personal insult.
Which by the way, I have never done about you.
A number of people seemed to have joined in 2015 to praise Trump.
Wonder what he ‘has on them?’
Deflection
Another Hillary Clinton tactic
You sure know her playbook really well
You just did and have been
You just don’t like being called out
Yeah, like you can get anything built in New York without the Mafia making an appearance. Heck, you couldn’t even buy a fish in NYC without encountering the Mafia.
I was reminded of this from Rodney Dangerfield’s Back to School where the economics professor tells the kids what is needed to get a factory up and running:
Rodney:
Oh, you left out
a bunch of stuff.
Oh, really?
Like what, for instance?
First of all, you have to grease
the local politicians...
for the sudden zoning problems
that always come up.
Then there’s the kickbacks
to the carpenters.
And if you plan on using
any cement in this building...
I’m sure the teamsters
would like to have...
a little chat with you,
and that’ll cost you.
Don’t forget a little something
for the building inspectors.
There’s the long-term costs,
such as waste disposal.
I don’t know if you’re familiar
with who runs that business...
but I assure you
it’s not the boy scouts.
That will be quite enough,
Mr. Melon.
Maybe bribes and kickbacks...
and Mafia payoffs
are how you do business...
but they are not part of
the legitimate business world...
and they’re certainly
not part of anything...
I’m teaching in this class.
Do I make myself clear?
Sorry. Just trying to help.
That’s all.
Now, notwithstanding
Mr. Melon’s input...
the next question for us is
where to build our factory.
How about Fantasyland?
So, maybe that's the ONLY reason he's running for president and telling his followers anything and everything they want to hear. He has no idea how to run a country. The U.S. is not a gambling casino!
MAYBE he needs that SS protection for the rest of his life, because his shady deals have gotten him in so much hot water with just about everyone. He's screwed over too many people. He has no one left to bail him out.
Trump has no specific policies. He already went from supporting universal health care to "removing the lines" for competition. He was big on PP, but now has moved to non-supprt if they give abortions (Which is a ridicules statement. Is he dumb, or just naive, or a used car salesman who'll say anything to make a sale?).
Because Trump can't answer a policy question without deflecting and attacking, then how dumb is he when it comes to running an entire nation? He can't even answer a simple U.S. policy question!
The U.S. is more than just clean beds and expensive dinners. He can't just hire illegals to keep it clean and mow the lawns.
It will be a sad day in America if Trump becomes President.
Little by little, the Trump supporters here will start whining.
How long will it take them to finally realize there will be no wall.
That Trump will continue to play nice with China and Mexico.
That illegals will be declared necessary to help Trump and his friends build stuff.
That Trump is too OCD to live in the White House but will stay there a few hours and fly home to New York every night.
That it will not be wonderful, wonderful.
Too sad to think about but I may smile a little.
Not too much though, as I will be hurt also.
I loved that exchange
I actually used that same line with an econ professor in college in a similar setting
Went over his head, but everyone else was laughing lol
So you don’t think Hillary will use dirt against Trump.
And what we say here on FR will not influence her one way or another.
Does your idol Hillary Clinton know how to run a country?
JEB?
Marco Rubio?
Mitt Romney?
Barack Obama?
I will take my chances with Trump, at least he has executive experience and seems to understand our true problems. If we listen to everyone else, our country problems are that we don’t have enough Muslims, we need to be more tolerant of Transformers, clocks in suitcases are normal and Planned Parenthood needs more funding, as long as the GOPe donors get their kick backs.
Lets just elect “business as usual” like you propose
I should not have to tell you Trump was a womanizer, everyone knows that.
We were kinda against that when it was Clinton.
That may be one of the few things Hillary does not bring up about Trump.
Apparently, it was fine with you though.
Then you don’t mind a president who is a womanizer? Just to clear that up.
It truly is becoming cartoonish, a sad parody. Who are these people and who pays them?
True. He'll probably push to get some of that cleaned up. Of course he's wise to not emphasize that just yet.
She will use it and Trump will destroy her
In fact, he is hoping she would use it because his responses will be of epic proportion.
Trump wants to move on and GOPe want to continue to wrestle in the mud
I was from that area and my Italian side that were mafia union mob Democrats were very powerful teamsters all over the leadership.
You could not avoid them, though I after 10 avoided them comp!etely. Yet I was not trying to do business in NY
That is a horrible thing to say but I assume you are quoting Trump.
Because there's one set of rules for the Washington insiders and another set of rules for the citizens. I think EVERYONE who runs for office should prove they're playing by the same rules - no matter how rich they claim they are.
Taxers are what pays for everything in the WORLD , not just the U.S. It's the political classes life blood. If they're going to oppress us through taxation, by golly I want to see how much of their own stash they're coughing up - or if they are at all.
If Trump wants to play with the elites, he's going to have to prove he, too, plays by the same rules we're forced to obey.
