UNION COUNTY, S.C. —A teacher at Union County High School has resigned after a student spread a nude picture of her through text messages and social media, according to Union County School District interim superintendent David Eubanks.
She said the student took the phone from her desk while she was patrolling the halls.
The Union County Sheriff's Office is now investigating. Eubanks said the office will determine whether the student is charged.

The kid should be punished for stealing the teacher’s phone.
The teacher is just guilty of stupidity. when plain old print photos were commonplace, would anyone simply carry around nude photos of themselves in their back pocket? Or leave them in an envelope on their desk, while at work? This is no different.
If she is as hefty as she looks, the kid should be punished for showing the pics...........just sayin’.
Yes teacher was stupid yes, however there are people down here think she is at fault. If the little jerk went into her purse and took a debit card and used it would she still be at fault? BS junior needs to be out and the teacher re-instated and moved to another school so jerks fellow droolers are not drooling.
Maybe not smart but I should be able to keep anything I want in a purse with an expectation of privacy.
seems to me you have a right to be a nudist in your own private photos. Kid did a rotten trick on the teacher and she gets fired.

We don’t need idiots teaching our kids. This teacher is an idiot for carrying around nude pictures of herself on her phone. And that’s being unfair to idiots because they have more sense than this teacher.
