To say they had an unpleasant three day hangover is putting it nicely.
They were apparently subjected to some intense questioning while background checks were run and returned with a story that ended in words to the effect of 'don't f**k around with those sites'.
Which, as I understand it, was good enough to dissuade those who heard about it until the story faded in the collective consciousness of the institution, at which point another brilliant student of military hardware would emerge and the general process was repeated.
