So, you're on record denying that the fbi agents tried to cover up for their shooter who tried to cap Finicum with his hands raised at the outset..
Also that the Deschutes County Sheriff and his people are "off into fringe conspiracy land".
We'll continue the Finicum discussions in the future with your candid admission of your position in this matter.
Thanks! This clarifies the matter, at least in your case...
Which group of people would, of course, include the Deschutes County Sheriff's Department...
Pathetic. If a poster brings up "inconvenient true facts", they're a "conspiracy nut".
Kind of like 0Muslim & his supporters scream "RACISS!!!" - when everyone knows that Muslim isn't a race.
Everyone also knows that OSP "pretend soldiers" aren't REAL soldiers.
And boy did they show it while they were gunning down Finicum in cold, jittery blood... :)
I just ran the numbers from the video. Giving the "investigators" the benefit of the doubt [3/8 inch=20 feet, instead of 1/2 inch-20 feet, we get 34 vehicle lengths [20 feet] from the time the truck's brake lights come on in the video. That's 680 feet, not 862 feet [the difference is most of a football field]. The "investigators" neglected to take into account that Finicum crossed lanes when coming into the blind curve before the deadly [and probably illegal] hidden roadblock- a common occurrence during regular driving on twisty roads.
Did it myself tonight, several times.
I think it's noble that the leos hired the "intellectually challenged" as "investigators" in this case.
Good on them, and more power to the ADA. :)
I realize that your internet video forensic skills are epic, but you do know that it's possible for investigators to actually visit the location in question, right?
You're talking about the lying, covering-up "investigators", remember?
Oh, BTW - are you advancing a conspiracy theory that the overhead video of the Finicum murder is not actually the real video?
OK. You're off into fringe conspiracy land.
A decent person would give them a "shout-out", like I did.
Pretending, like you're doing, does them a disservice...
Thanks. Did it look to you, from the overhead drone video, as if a cop jumped into LaVoy’s lane of travel, green-lighting an “assault with a deadly weapon” scenario? Looked to me as if he’d have been safer where he was, and tthat it was known LaVoy would naturally fly wide left on the curve.
Our Staters are tasked with fish and wildlife law enforcement. They do, in fact, sneak around in the woods, trying not to be seen. Big money in fines.
I thought that when I first saw the video, but now I think that the OSP state trooper probably freaked out at the prospect of being behind a vehicle that was going to be hit by a pickup truck doing 50+ mph.
If he was doing anything other than that, he was being foolhardy. [trying to force Finicum into deeper snow, or purposely jumping to trigger what you wrote]
It just goes to show you how dangerous fixed roadblocks really are - for both sides of the encounter.
I call those kinds "Revenooers", like the old Appalachian still-hunting leos.
