What if, it is found that President Obama was born in Kenya, and did not meet the requirements to hold the office of POUS, how would that effect the legislation he put into place and the executive orders, court appointments, in other word everything he has done? Everyone thoughts and opinions.

She did not meet the age/resident requirement to endow citizenship to Obama. Citizenship follows the father and he was never a citizen/legal resident.

AND he WAS born in Kenya. His Kenyan birth certificate was proffered as evidence in several eligibility court cases along with sworn affidavits to it’s authenticity.

It all doesn’t matter, because he’s a progressive socialist. He’s Black, and he’s a Muslim. If you question such a person you are a bigot, racist, etc

If it were proven that Obama was not a NBC, it would prevent him from running again

Where does the Constitution discuss "running for President"?

For that matter, where does the Constitution specify elections (other than the 538 members of the Electoral College) as the method for choosing a President?

Well, if it’s legal for Cruz to be born in Canada it’s legal for Obama to be born in Kenya.

Apparently it does not matter if you are born overseas and have a non-citizen father as long as your mother was a citizen.

Shortly I have no doubt that even if you were born out of the country of two non-citizen parents you will still be a natural born citizen and eligible for the presidency as long as your parents had heard of the US in passing.

How many times does this point of law have to be stated over how many years before people "get it" that she was too young to endow citizenship to her son. Geez.

Once the House certifies the vote, it's done.

Yep that's why the standing thing always kicks out cases. There's already a remedy for someone not being a natural born citizen and it sits in the electors and the house.

That's what scares me about Cruz. I think the Dems will raise such a stink about his eligibility that it will be impossible for him to be certified if the GOP even lets it go that far. I think by the time the dems and gop get done with Cruz they'll make him look like he has no business or ever had any business running for President. There will be cries from the media about how could the Republican party let this happen? Why didn't they research their own guy? etc etc.

Yes, but I think technically, but some obscure law, she was too young at the time to have conveyed citizenship via foreign birth.

Right, isn’t anyone who is involved in trouble? What about if there were any media outlets that knew things, but kept them quiet?

Wouldn’t a RICO indictment against a whole slew of people and organizations be a hoot?

He was born in Hawaii. He is hiding his Indonesian citizenship that came from his adoption by his step father and his use of that status to get into college.

Yes. And that's bad enough. Kenyan birth is the old Clinton tactic of "gin it up then embarrass your critics when it proves to be less."

“What if it is made public that Obama WAS born in Kenya?”

Should be plenty of room at GITMO for him and those involved in the cover up.

The ruling would come down as ... he was legally in office by way of a vote and not because of elegibility

If it was proven that he was born in Kenya, he would be guaranteed another 8 years in office.

So, hypothetically...

Obama was born in a foreign country, to an American woman and a non-American father.

This comes to light only after he's become President, under the deceptive claim that he was born in Hawaii.

My question at this point is why should he even lie about it? So long as he has an American mom, just show up here. Run for office, and renounce citizenship to the foreign country if it applies, and he's set.

What? The NBC clause of the Constitution? That's even more quaint a notion than the 10th Amendment.

So long as everyone ignores the issue, and judges here and there are prevailed upon to throw challenges to his eligibility out of court, and the media all regale him nonstop and all the groupthink accrues in his favor, why would there even be a problem for him? What is there to hide at this point?

What's the problem here? (See tagline.)
