Extreme March Weather Pattern Yields Snow in Mexico, Historic Flooding....

The upper-air weather pattern over North America this week has been an extreme one that has yielded record-breaking results.

An area of low pressure in the upper atmosphere that pushed into California on Monday dove southward into Mexico, where it became mostly detached from the main jet stream to the north. This allowed it to stall over northern Mexico, resulting in rare March snow for parts of that country and extreme flooding in the southern United States. At the same time, the jet stream built north over southeast Canada, where an expansive area of high pressure both aloft and at the surface of the earth has resulted in extreme warmth early in the season....

As I am dying I want to be know that I did my best to take care of the Earth for all who are left behind. I’m dying now. We all are.

Why are you avoiding the question? What has made you a believer that Climate Change is real and is being caused by man?

Do you not have an answer?

In the third grade I learned in school that natural resources are not infinite, Robert. It was over 60 years ago, yet that realization continues to remind me that the actions of each individual can effect the health of the Earth. It’s a collective process. The EPA has some information: http://www3.epa.gov/climatechange/science/causes.html

What made you believe that Climate Change isn’t real?

The ice age returns. Snow in Mexico in March. Parts of Asia have seen cold weather unheard of in modern times. They have no infrastructure to keep warm. Obama and the progressos are killing them.

God didn't make enough to last until He returns, or what? Nothing that happens here is "collective" except in the sense that we are all sinners. But, that doesn't have anything to do with your dedication to your grade school education. That stands alone as an example of humanism.

There is nothing man can do to destroy the earth. Portions, yes, but not all. If the land becomes poisoned (for example by your blessed EPA spill), then man makes reparations to the land.

Climate change is not real, in the sense that "we are doomed". Most of us old folks have figured out that it is more commonly called "weather". Some times it is cold. Some times it is hot. Some times it rains. But, it always different than what the forecasters say it will be!

Trite response. I suppose you don’t have a thought for the children who will inherit the consequences of your failure to think about them.

You should probably explore the subject much more deeply. We are heading into a 400 year cycle (within a cycle) and a solar minimum.

This type of weather has been reported before. There is nothing new about it.

A good place to start reading is The Little Ice Age.

There is nothing magical that humans can do to alter the course of climate. All they can do is adapt. I'm sure you remember how hollywood portrayed primitive cultures. The sacrifice of virgins to appease the volcano gods.

This is no different. What we do have to do is adapt and plan for what is coming.

I predict and will go on record that 2019 will be nothing like we have ever seen before. By 2030, we will be praying for the planet to warm again and the deaths from starvations to stop.

I will be posting here. If I am wrong you can point it out. I will admit that my studies were in error. I wish I was wrong.

WVKayaker, is it possible to discuss what is happening to us without bringing up the humanism vs. religion debate?
We are here, so briefly, and each of us care. How shall we raise the children to make the world a better place?

I'm sorry I didn't include this in the previous post. There are two other books. When I read it I had to ignore the ego of the author. That did not detract from the truth of what he wrote. His lectures are also on YouTube.

Cold Sun and Dark Winter: How the Sun Is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell.

Nothing historic or unusual about the recent flooding in Texas and Louisiana, it happens often like that. Labor Day weekend of last year is an example.

The climate always changes. What many don’t believe is that it is primarily man made and that we need draconian measures to take over every aspect of our lives to change things.
