I changed from Independent to Republican because of Trump. I will vote for whoever is against Hillary. However, I will also consider into the factor the GOPe’s idea of voting for Hillary because they are against Trump. I may just let them have their wish, what the hell, I’ve only a couple of years left and really don’t want any part of the way we pick leaders lately. Let them have their eventual President Commacho. They’ve polarized everyone so far and who knows maybe Commacho will bring them back together in the future?

Your comments most align with my sentiments, formed over the same period of time. My wife has been for Trump since New Hampshire. We disagreed strongly until I began to see Cruz respond to every question like he was a trial attorney, which, for me, is a total turn off. Friday in Chicago was the game-changer (I will not go back to Cruz). I asked my question sincerely. Many interesting responses. Thanks.

At least Cruz has seemed to be a closet Corporatist, North American Union guy for years, since he was with Bush.

We lost the House and Senate years ago.

The crossovers can vote straight R ticket and the House and the Senate would be the same.

Thank you, and all others on this thread, that have expressed this view.

It makes me feel better, as that is how I feel as well.

Cruz is the only one I sent money to.

Wish I could get it back.

The question that should be asked is: “Do ANY of them actually deserve our votes and our faith.”

(That answer being NO. They are all frauds to varying degrees.)

So far, Trump is the only one who hasn’t been a huge personal disappointment to me. So, while he doesn’t quite have my support, I despise him the least, and at least he is saying many things that need to be said, and exposing truths that all his opponents (GOP and Dem) would prefer stay hidden.

I was cruz, Rubio, trump/cruz/Rubio, trump/cruz, trump. I figure if the GOPe hate him and the democrats hate him that’s a good Thing. I won’t be switching at this point. If trump isn’t the nominee, I’ll see how the candidate does in the general and what shenanigans happen from GOP to decide if I’ll vote. Voting for Trump in FL on tues.

I started out leaning towards Trump. I loved to hear him speak his mind and tended to agree with him on most issues. THEN...when he started attacking his fellow candidates...that is what turned me away from him. The guy has no filter from the brain to the mouth. Sometimes you have to be diplomatic....not possible with him.

I now support Senator Cruz.

>>>I am now firmly in the “Never Trump” camp, along with the rest of my family<<<

If you and your Family have that attitude in the General Election if Trump is the Republican Nominee, Hillary Clinton appreciates your not canceling out any of her Voters.

Maybe she will even thank you in her Inauguration Speech. You never know. I've been a Cruzer long before he started running for POTUS. Trump just leapfrogged him as my first choice, but either one will get my Vote in the General Election. I don't help DemoncRats get Elected by refusing to support the Republican Nominee against them. I would even Vote for Rubio (yuck) if he ended up being the last man standing.

I was originally for Cruz the flipped over to Trump but after watching him with all his BS and doing some research I switched back to Cruz. Right now I would vote for absolutely any of the other 16 original candidates rather than Trump. Will never vote for him, ever.

“””I’m glad you’re involved now, but please try to understand the Cruz supporters frustration.”””

I’ve pretty much given up on trying to reason with trumpsters on FR. If it isn’t in a twenty second sound bite you lose them.

"I support Cruz...but will gladly support Trump when/if he wins the nomination."

I have not seen a single Trumpster say they would support Cruz if he gets the nomination. Have you?

"Having watched both men, listened to what they say and read their proposals in detail,..."

You made your decision to support Cruz based on an intelligent decision. Most of the Trumpsters I read on here go for him based on a knee jerk reaction.

I've been a Cruz supporter after Walker left the race...

I know that makes me a globalist, RINO loving, GOPe shill, Goldman Sachs stooge, and all other sorts of reprehensible bad character traits, maybe even a traitor...

But Cruz is the only constitutional conservative candidate running...

So I guess I'm stuck with my choice...

We don't "refuse to read" it.

We just understand, in typical professional politician fashion, he's trying to have it both ways.

Sure, he condemned the rabble, but he couldn't resist taking the shot at Trump, and in so doing he gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
