I had to come in and see if Ann was respectable again. Apparently she is. I wonder what’s changed?

You have to look at what she actually wrote to know if it is respectable or not— Can anyone point out any lies she said in her piece?

“It’s a good column but it barely grazes the surface of Cruz’ lies. He’s truly pathological.”

Because it’s about his true believers, and the level of dishonesty that permeates the whole campaign.

We around here had tried for a long time to critique the man and not the quality of his supporters, but as time has gone on, there’s no separating the them. Ann is speaking the absolute truth. The level of zealotry is astounding.

"If James Carville and Paul Begala had a baby, it would be a Cruz supporter."

And Barack "Truthless" Obama would be that baby's fairy godmother.

(And here is that lying little Cruz Crusty that Ann was talking about!)

Some of the anti-Coulter sentiment on this thread is repulsive. See post 52. If you want to make common cause with those hate-filled posters, that’s your decision.

I only accept responsibility for my own posts, and my level of snark on this thread has never exceeded Coulter's own.

Excellent points. There was a time, not really that long ago, when I thought Cruz supporters simply didn’t realize how much he lies. I thought if you just laid two or three wholesale lies out for them, they’d rethink at least their characterization of him as a consistent conservative.

I was wrong. There is nothing Cruz could say or do to lessen their zealotry. It’s blind devotion at this point.

[This does not apply to all Cruz supporters, only to those who are unfazed by his outright lying.]

“This article reminded me of all the fan dancing Limbaugh does around Cruz.”

In the end Rush pays to play, but for a long time he did a pretty good job of splitting the baby between the Trump and Cruz supporters. Some may remember a little outburst he had in exasperation from a Cruz seminar caller complaining her guy wasn’t getting enough time and Rush wasn’t using his ‘influence’ to help Cruz. He yelled it wasn’t his job to find votes for her candidate.

It’s as Ann correctly points out. They are cultists plain and simple, and will hound all into submission. It’s why a forum where Trump enjoys a 85% nightly caucus trend line has to deal with hundreds of idiotic “breaking news” anti-Trump blog excerpts.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the command doesn’t say, ‘Do unto others as they in turn do unto others.’ We are salt, not mimics.

and this...”So now, Cruz has finally won an honest-to-goodness primary. This is great news for him, provided: (1) the general election is a caucus, and (2) the national media universally denounce Cruz’s Democratic opponent the same way the Wisconsin media denounced Trump.

In that case, Cruz should do fine.”

If he is the nominee I will vote for him because we cannot survive either Clinton or Sanders.

Terd Cruz would do little to make the actual changes needed to save this country. Our border will be as porous as ever.

Seek out a sanatorium, Ann.

Which one are you staying at?

“Congratulations to Ted Cruz for winning his fourth primary! Usually Donald Trump wins the primaries “

I am really tired of all this idiocy saying someone ‘wins’ a primary. Only in a winner-take-all is there a single winner.

All other primaries are proportional, meaning several people ‘win’ the primary. It is true that some get more delegates than others, but there is more than a single winner.

There have only been three primaries to date that are winner-take-all, namely, Florida(Trump), Ohio(Kasich), Arizona(Trump). None of the victors achieved a majority (+50%).

Kasich, Trump and Cruz have all ‘won’ in other primaries.

The money quote right here:

"If James Carville and Paul Begala had a baby, it would be a Cruz supporter."

I stand with Cruz's daughter.
