For those of you who don't do Hebrew: "Divine Providence". Why would Hashem WANT the idiocy of Americans to multiply like cockroaches? Why would he want this country, which has offered refuge like no other, to be destroyed?
Yet I must admit that with the "Snowflake Infection" of our country---young people whose sensitivities have been set to extreme overdrive, like allergens set off one's immune system excessively in allergic conditions, the enthusiasm for criminals like Shrillary and ideologue moronic bums like Sanders, the thirst for freebies not earned, the rise of stabbings and other assaults by very young people on others, the contempt for laws and the demise of common decency, I have wondered if we are not at the brink of Divine punishment for the sinking of this country into the tar-like ooze of moral decay, which sucks you ever downward, the more and more you struggle.
"Gimme, gimme, gimme" has replaced, "What can I do for YOU?" Simply wanting something has become a justification for stealing it from another, whether it's money, Air Jordan sneakers, or a fancy baby carriage sitting on a porch. I just love these welfare brood sows justifying their offspring stealing valuables with remarks like, "But where else he gonna get his money?" (actually read this in a couple of recent crime stories in the paper). Being emotionally unable to deal with normal human interactions has resulted in people shooting, stabbing, or viciously beating others for nothing more than a look, an offhanded remark, or one's appearance. It's less America lately than Lord of the Flies. I cannot see a future for America if these practices and barbarisms are left unchecked, and if trash from the gangs and fields of Mexico, China, and South America are imported here wholesale by traitorous politicians, accelerating the moral infection.
There is no logic or reason for Obama & Sanders’ popularity except to maybe say that like all those recent Hollywood Zombie films, millions of voting Americans are now Zombies.
The dumbing down of the populace 1965-2016 has worked.
Obama has been lying since, well, forever and much to his credit, he is the smoothest, coolest, Sophist in recent memory. The net result of his policies around the world are strife, chaos, warfare, inter class warfare and interracial tensions - something we all thought were behind us.

Obama s a generally likable guy, so people are, particularly those not very political, generally like him. With Bernie, I think it is more a matter of him running against one of the most unlikable people in the country.

I don’t understand it either. The younger people have been taught that socialism is good, capitalism is bad. The gov’t blames capitalism and greed for the housing debacle and financial breakdown, but the gov’t actually shares a lot of the blame. They just covered it up and acted like they fixed it by printing money. They lie about employment and everything else, and most people are not informed enough to know better.
And that doesn’t even cover the social breakdown, foreign affairs and terrorism, etc.
And they did all that in spite of gaining seats all over the country at the local, state and federal level since Obama has been elected.
If by “accomplish” you mean “got legislation passed into law”, not much. Hardly anything at all, really. Which is a hell of a lot better for you and me than adding to the US Code, 99% of which should probably never have been passed into law in the first place.
If you mean inspiring millions of Americans with the message of liberty and respect for the Constitution, quite a lot.

This IS our education system, MSM, from our education system, the education system HAS destroyed this country!!! WE have to BLOW it up or destroy this nation!!! This is the #2 issue this country HAS to confront head on taking prisoners along the way!!! The #1 issue is immigration if Trump can make a dent in both of these issues I will consider him extremely successful!!!

I think that this is an important factor in this deterioration. Schools are now pressured to process students through, no matter if they have learned anything or not. Standards have been vastly lowered to allow low caliber students to graduate. Thus, their diplomas are worth virtually nothing. Students have not been taught critical thinking. They have merely learned to game the system. They know their teachers must pass most of them or be fired, so they freely engage in cheating, doing the minimal amount of work, copying the work of others, etc. How can you then expect people of high moral character with superior reasoning abilities to result from this?
Children are raised nowadays by being plunked in front of a TV set from infancy, learning their morals from TV shows, exploitation films, and filthy lyrics of crap songs. These ridicule morality, honesty, striving for goals, etc., instead celebrating out of wedlock children, people living together while unmarried, fooling people, getting away with minimal work, doing violence to people who "diss" you, etc. Their "parents" (I use this term to designate the folks who spawned these children---certainly most of them would not qualify to be termed "parents" by their careless rearing practices) are not even aware of much of their offsprings' activities, let alone guiding them. So it is no surprise that we have today untold hordes of feral amoral children committing criminal acts at shockingly young ages. No, they do not "know better" because they were never taught "better".
