Drudge is also probably single-handedly responsible for something like 1/3 of FR’s membership, as he links to us, often to his own unselfish detriment.

The best thing I ever saw on the Drudge Report was in 1999. It was a link to Free Republic.
Add Wall Street Journal, National Review Online (NRO), Politico, Investor’s Business Daily, Business Insider.
Apparently a lot of folks feel they got a lot to lose when the GOP Establishment / DNC Uniparty comes crashing down.
I am not trying to be insulting, but the news here comes from sources all over the net. I bet a good percentage of posts on FR have originated from Drudge or other news aggregators.
From there, a freeper will find it interesting and post here where we comment about it. It isn’t stealing viewers from Free Republic.
I know I have posted articles here that I found on Drudge and on hundreds of other locations. Some people just come to Free Republic and see what others post. Some contribute new threads based on what they find in other locations. Without those who post new threads, where would FR be?

Rush Limbaugh has a pretty good website I think. It doesn’t lock up your computer if your computer is slow with popup videos.
