I think most people realize Trump is not a conservative ideologically. He identifies more with the party that is slightly more conservative, though he apparently despises some of its more socially conservative platform planks.
On the other hand, he may actually govern conservatively on issues where he promised to do so.
He promised to defund abortion.
He promised to build a wall and stop illegal immigration.
He promised to negotiate trade deals that actually favor America.
His supporters should have demanded he take similar positions on taxes, health care, religious freedom, and a number of other issues.
As it stands, his supporters do not care what Trump says or does. They imagine he will do the right thing.
On some things he probably will. On some he almost certainly will not. But loyalty to him must not be questioned.

It’s also not rocket science to add a comment or put other’s comments in quotes.
But, even so, it still does not excuse the fact that you are re-posting someone else’s nasty lies about Cruz because it fits your agenda of maligning Cruz.
You could just as easily have re-tweeted comments from Planned Parenthood or the Clinton campaign. That’s essentially what you did. And it is because you are ideologically and philosophically aligned with Planned Parenthood and other leftwing haters of Cruz.
Because Cruz is usually right on the money when it comes to conservative positions, those who oppose him on this forum have had to resort to sliming his appearance, his voice, his family, and his supporters. There is hardly ever an attack based on his actual voting record or policy positions.
And the reasons to support Trump are never ideological either. Like liberals, the discussion is almost always about desired outcomes rather than the way to reach them. Great. Everyone wants to be more healthy, prosperous, and secure. Who doesn’t? Even the Democrats will agree. What we don’t agree on is how to get there.
But go ahead and keep posting nonsense like this. I have nothing against Trump personally. I just want him to commit to govern conservatively. He has earlier, but lately he seems to be moving left again. Moving left, and attacking Cruz are losing strategies.
That is what tweets look like when posted. If you click your can go read the tweet and see. You must have done that to see the video on the tweet.

It’s the Pelosi approach to politics. We must first vote for Trump to find out what Trump stands for.
I’m prepared to vote for Trump in the fall if he gets the nomination, because I think he will do less damage that Hillary. And he could even turn out to be a great president. But the evidence has not encouraged me so far.
He seems to be dying to move left as soon as he can. And he has reserved his worst vitriol for the most conservative candidates. Except he did address the elephant in the room: that Hillary should be heading to prison, not the white house.
Mostly, I’m disappointed in the conservatives on this forum not demanding more and settling for less. Seems like Stockholm syndrome from seven and a half long years of non-stop bad news because of this administration.

What disturbs me more than anything, is the way his supporters on this forum have projected his temperament that it's perfectly OK to mock, demonize, belittle, smear, libel mostly fine and decent candidates, many who they would support if Trump was not running...

The point is, the tweet, the link, the video, the comments are all designed to insult and malign Cruz like the million other unfounded, unsubstantiated accusations that have been hurled at him for months on a conservative forum.
The video is of Cruz handing someone what appear to be a piece of paper and some money. Also in frame were people holding cameras and a book by Cruz which looked as if the holder was wanting his autograph.
I have no idea why Cruz might hand someone cash. Maybe he was handing back a donation and telling him he should donate online. Maybe it was a staffer getting his lunch. Maybe he lost a bet. Maybe he owed the guy money.
We do not even know who the person was to whom he gave the money.
This is only a conspiracy and only newsworthy to CRAZY people. By posting it as if it was somehow cogent or relevant puts you squarely in that category.
Do you really honestly think a Harvard lawyer who argued cases before the Supreme Court, who knows his every move is being scrutinized, just openly committed a felony? If you are convinced Cruz is crooked, surely you think he is at least a more competent crook than that.

How coy. Am I unreasonable to assume you realize that most Americans conduct at least some of their financial transactions in cash? And that Cruz almost certainly uses cash from time to time?

And as evidence we post a video of you, or any random male since we don’t have your photo, walking past a playground with children.
