Voter enthusiasm among black people won't be as strong for clinton as it was for hussein obama, so she needs to have a running mate "of color" in order to ensure that obama's people show up at the polls en masse.
A guy like booker can create the right 'optics' without posing a threat to clinton or overshadowing her in any way.
There will never be an 'all-white' democrat presidential ticket again. It won't be acceptable to the radical leftist base to which they are now beholden.
