The Brookings Institution reported that Barack Obama ended opium eradication efforts in Afghanistan in 2009, effectively green lighting Afghan opium production and the Afghan heroin trade. By 2010, all US efforts to eradicate Afghan opium ceased. It has been US policy to allow Afghan opium growing and the heroin trade since. US heroin deaths tripled from 3,036 in 2010 to 10,574 in 2014 as a result of the Afghan narcotics trade being green lighted by Obama during his first year in office.

Obama is an angel of death and destruction.
He also is directly responsible for the abandonment of Iraq, and the wars in Libya, Syria (and nearly Egypt) - giving the cause and the green light for 2 million refugees to head towards Europe.
The willful blindness of the US media and governing elite to this fact is nearly unbelievable.
I can take natural opioids, but get an allergic reaction from hydrocodone. Don’t know why.

Trying to eradicate opium in Afghanistan was a dumb idea, as I said back in 2004. Attempting to take away the only cash crop for the majority of Afghans guaranteed they would go against us. It would have made more sense and been cheaper in the long run to buy it from them at better than market prices.
Real question: is opium still a cash crop if it is sold legally for the production of pharmaceutical narcotics?
Bullcrap. This isn’t just Obama. Poppy production in Afghanistan exploded under Bush. There’s never been a time we didn’t protect the poppy fields.
That has been the best idea for defeating the drug culture for at least 45 years now. And it will never happen because there is far too much money involved.
If one summarizes the actions of the negro community organizer from Chicago one can conclude he and his administration have been the INVERSE of all that has gone before. All morals and values have been reversed; what was once bad is now good and what was once good is now bad.
If these products of raw opium can be thought of as chemical weapons of mass destruction then Obama should be thought of as an enemy of the state.

Number of hectares in poppy cultivation tripled after we invaded. Afghan heroin flooded American streets. This is a policy, and it isn’t just Obama by any stretch.

We’re talking about an epidemic being encouraged while banning meds that have been a tremendous boon to pain sufferers? Regardless of who did what- the fact is that illegal drugs are being ok’d while legal drugs that many rely on are being banned- or very hard to get-
ok, sure, let’s be honest. the longest war in United States history; 14 years and projected to end 2021: Afghanistan. until 2010, Afghanistan use to be the home of the Poppy Plant that is used to make Heroin. Our tax dollars were used to pay farmers not to grow Poppy and to win the hearts of the Afghanistan people. Hey Google Mexico and Poppy Farming now, 2/3 of their farms is now Poppy production. and our borders are wide open due to failed Leadership.
