The NCAA has created an anti-discrimination process for championship bids, including cities that want to host the Final Four, the association announced Wednesday.

The NCAA Board of Governors adopted a new requirement for sites bidding on championship events to demonstrate “how they will provide an environment that is safe, healthy and free of discrimination, plus safeguards the dignity of everyone involved in the event,” according to an NCAA news release. The requirement comes as legislatures in many states have passed religious freedom laws that allow residents to refuse to provide certain services based on people's sexual orientation or gender identity.

Isn’t the whole point of sports discrimination? In this case the more talented over the less talented? Even if by no fault of their own, biology, upbringing etc?

we are living in strange and demanding times. We are told by some if a man in a wig wants to use the facilities of a woman, he should be allowed. Women go into mens’ dressing rooms and claim it is “breaking barriers.” Homsoexuals are heroes. The list goes on and on.

The N in NCAA stands for national. I don’t think that any “national” organization receiving any kind of government benefit should be allowed to play games in state level politics. It is either for the whole nation, or not. Their federal money bag should have a requirement that they don’t discriminate against any state. Allowing only some states to be eligible for championships... is exactly what they should not be doing. All states support them, and they should support all the states.

If those who are discriminated against (generally wierdos of all stripes) kept their illnesses to themselves no one would bother them. So that should be the plan.

We are living in the days of Noah and LotYeah we sure are.

It's not as much what is happening in the falling away but the speed the decline has increased to and more widespread. As well the prophecies in Daniel are now probable in being underway.

My oldest grandson is headed to college this fall on a full athletic scholarship. He wisely chose a smaller university that is very church affiliated. It also offers the pre-med curriculum he is needing. I was really worried about which university he'd pick but this one offered full scholarship and he won't be getting P.C. garbage crammed in his head.
