Time to clean out the locker…
I just dropped by to clean out the ol’ FR locker and to deliver a short missive.
As this primary season ends so does the forum participation of 100’s of former freepers. It has become very apparent that the owner, the moderators, and many current freepers feel very threaten by any opposition to their anointed candidate. Only a weak candidate will feel threatened by the opposition and stoop to gutter language and personal insults. We all know to whom I reference.
Donald has never been an individual I could support. This lack of support was one long before his presidential candidacy announcement. Donald is much like a novelty toy you purchase on impulse and it ends up at next year’s garage sale. Remember the Magic 8 Ball? Well, to me that’s Donald. Shake him with a question and you get one answer. Shake him again with the same question and you get a different answer. Yes, the novelty soon wears off.
Last parting thought…Should Donald become the republican nominee for president and actually become president remember this…it takes only one US senator to stop the government dead in its’ tracks. Remember that when your candidate makes vulgar and snarky comments about his presidential primary competition.
With the locker now empty and I depart FreeRepublic, I’ll leave the door open...not for my return, but for the multitude of individuals that are following my footsteps to brighter forums.

This is just too funny.. playing 'the Donald' after you just trashed him...
You’re wrong. I supported Ted Cruz early on and no one told me to leave or anything.
Anymore I support Trump because Ted Cruz convinced me that Trump was the better choice for President. Cruz made a compelling argument all on his own and it had nothing to do with FR.
Please, just tell us what we must do to keep you?

Don’t despair. Yes, there are very assholic things that were said about Ted Cruiz and his supporters (frankly, worse things than I have ever seen written against Obama or Hillary!). As a Ted Cruz supporter I do note that Ted pulled out all the stops to defeat Donald as well. I just hope that this vigorous fight prevents the reunification before we have to fight the real enemy: Hillary Clinton and the GOPe (yes, they’d rather Hillary win rather than either Donald or Ted). Every single person will be needed for this fight.

We’re not going to be able to put on any more theatrical productions at Free Republic with all these drama queens leaving.
The partiality, however, has been astounding. So sad,... this used to be a conservative web site. Now, if you dare say anything but flattering about the recently crony-socialist, recently pro-abortion, recently tax-and-spend, probably-still-pro-homosexual-agenda, Hillary-loving destroyer of the conservative movement, God help you.
