A boycott of Target continues following a meeting between company officials and representatives from the American Family Association, which initiated the boycott that has attracted more than a million individual supporters.
Target is inviting transgender employees and customers to use the bathroom and changing room for the gender they identify with. According to Target, the policy is all about inclusivity and making people feel welcome.
American Family Association is boycotting Target, saying the policy puts women and children at risk of sexual predators who may take advantage of the policy. After AFA shared these concerns with Target officials Wednesday, the retailer stood by its policy.
"Target was very polite and very professional and they heard out our concerns over their restroom and changing room policy ... but Target stood by their position – and therefore the boycott will continue," says Walker Wildmon of AFA.
The family advocacy group has collected 1.2-million petition signatures, and on Wednesday hand-delivered one-million of those signatures at Target headquarters in Minneapolis.

The fabric was in pretty pitiful shape if something that wasn’t even forbidden in the bible has done this.
I dumped Target after they made the wrong decision on the firearm issue. Haven’t been back and will not return. I am very much looking forward to their eventual bankruptcy. With these decisions you know it’s only a matter of time. They’re taking the Jeb Bush approach to retailing: “We’ll profit without the customer!”

Except they are profiting WITH the customer.
You assume even the less than 1% of the US population that has signed up is even telling the truth.
The devil would be grinning... God is sad that Christians have found a voice to self-ostracize. The gospel is hard enough, why an issue that the bible doesn’t even embrace (read it — it addresses adultery, but NOT bathrooms)?

It took a while to sink Waldenbooks, but they did eventually have to capitulate.
It's pretty simple. The political winds are going pro-tranny and Target doesn't want lawsuits. I don't think it's their leadership's beliefs to do this but the Left is very litigious.
As Rush has always said, follow the money.
“All feel welcome” is just nonsense. How many ‘transexuals’ are there vs. mothers who really don’t want their daughters having to be with biological males in the restroom or fitting room? Let Target and others set up ‘neutral’ restrooms/dressing rooms and leave the gender specific ones as they were. I generally prefer Target for its product line and cleanliness of the stores, but will suffer WalMart in the meanwhile for those same items.
Not calculated. New age, masters degreed, emotion driven, university indoctrinated progressives in top management, changing the world for the better. One bathroom at a time.

I read it. Target is committing P C suicide.
Target, like most major corporations, has an office of diversity and inclusion. Most are staffed with every ethnicity and orientation except conservative, straight, white males.
If Caitlyn Jenner De-Transgresses then LGBT will become LGBTd-T.
How does Target handle that?
