I’ve never had foie gras or roast goose, I think I’d rather have the goose.

I sprayed tea on my monitor when I read post 14 and then 15 before reading what they were responding to!

If these whacko-snowflakes are against ‘foie gras’ then they certainly do not want to know how dog is prepared and cooked for eating! That would make them puke on the spot! LOL

I bet Foie Gras goes well with Spotted Owl Soup.

Goose or duck paté from birds force fed to grossly increase the size of their livers. The French have been making the stuff in that manner for centuries. Is it any more cruel than how chickens are commercially warehoused and slaughtered, beef cattle plied with hormones, sturgeons gutted for their eggs? I don't think so.

I just bought a frozen capon and have it thawing in the fridge for a weekend roast. Castrate a rooster and the resulting bird will grow to between the size of a chicken and turkey with better flavor than either one. I have no issues with paté or caviar even if they're not my personal things. Nor with someone choosing to personally forego the pleasure of eating meat. When they try to impose their "feelings" on me is when the trouble will start.

Take these uh people to the Amazon Basin separate them out about 10 km from each other and set them free with no food but any equipment that they are willing to carry. See how many can make it out.

I like that plan! I’m a big boy, but the regular meal is more than I can do.

Thanks, I ‘ll make sure I wash down all my steaks in the future with beer, rather than milk. I can quote you to explain to the wife, right?
