I’m wondering about that too - is that true? While I imagine a gay bar would probably have it’s fair share of actors (”crisis” and otherwise) - it reminds me of all of the people in the acting community involved at Sandy Hook.

all of us like to think we will rise to the occasion but we will actually fall to the level of our training. those of us who conceal carry ALL THE TIME, or have been in combat, read books on the subject, train and practice a lot and do what-if scenarios when walking from the parking lot to the store will most likely do well. this guy knows he screwed up and i hope and pray he gets counseling to get past it.

how many folks in this country walk into a restaurant, get seated, and know 10 seconds later where ALL the exits are, what i can use to take out the windows to escape, and have a clean line of sight to a likely avenue of approach of a killer?

You are correct. It is usually people with some prior training who have the presence of mind to take effective action against any kind of perpetrator when the attack starts.
