I’ll give a care when Aaron Rogers gets suspended for 4 games after he said he over inflated his footballs when this Brady case broke. I’ll put an asterisk next to the Pat’s when the 49s get there’s when Rice said he used illegal stickum to win games...in other words this is selective BS.

You don’t know what the hell your talking about.
The Colts balls were below regulation too. (3 out of 4)

The league said they didn’t have time to test all the balls.
They tested the balls with two different gauges and never recorded the original measurements.

The phone thing is a bunch of bullshit too. Tom gave them all pertinent information they asked for and the union told him not to turn over his phone.

By the way there was not a single person who lost their job because of this. The ball boys are back at their jobs.
NFL couldn’t prove a fkn thing.
They just tried to save their criminal faces.

Where is your proof O.J. is guilty? Where is your proof Clinton lied? Ithe depends on the meaning of the word “is.”

***Garappola will take the Patriots 4 and 0 against the Cards, Dolphins, Texans and the Bills in the first 4 games***

At Brady’s age this suspension is a blessing in disguise.

I knew you were talking to me. Patriot fans are the most obnoxious arrogant and stupid fans that I have ever seen. If their team doesn’t have a commanding half time lead, they boo. They whine and complain about every loss. I guarantee you that they cheat, and that you are willfully blind.

Tom Brady smashing his phone is not the behavior of an innocent man.

In the end, the whole NFL is larceny and fake as hell.

Heh, if the shoe fits, wear it. You can jump in bed with People like Bill Nye and Roger Goodell, that is your business.

I will say, though, you sure do sound like you care about the NFL, but you hate caring. If it is larceny and fake, why do you care? I mean, that’s okay, I understand your cognitive dissonance on that.

I think Pro Wrestling is fake, but I don’t watch it and don’t care if people get emotional about it. You sound like you watch a lot of football (or at least enough to think you know about how Patriots fans behave at a game) and you care enough to come into a thread about football and take the time to create a post, but you think the NFL is larceny and fake? I can’t imagine wasting the time if I felt that way. Do you actually watch football?

I don’t care about it. I don’t watch it anymore. Deflategate was the last straw. But I watched this years Super Bowl and saw their racist half time show, and don’t plan to watch it again.

I know how Patriot fans behave at a game. I live in New England, and was subjected to their games. However, the Patriots are the reason why I quit watching. Goodell burned evidence that the Patriots filmed practices, then this crap kept continuing.

I came to this thread, because I am glad Brady finally got what he deserved.

***BipolarBob, arguing the facts with many of these people is like arguing with the liberals who get off of a bus, are given a sign by someone else, and chant “No Blood For Oil”.***

That’s really nice rlmorel.......

I repeat..... the ballboy’s nickname was “The Deflator”. When that was discovered they said it was because he was losing weight.

Do you really buy that nonsense......really? REALLY?

Subjected to their games? I don’t know how that works, it is your choice, isn’t it?

It certainly sounds like an emotional stance that you are taking.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Often it was the only game on. Anyway, you cheating loser, quit responding.

Having spent a lot of time counter-protesting those people, I recognize them pretty readily in all walks of life. It doesn’t mean they can’t be good surgeons, grocery clerks, or good to their dogs, it just means they absorb things without critically assessing them and recite them with the fervor of sheep bleating “Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad”.

What facts do you endorse that the footballs were deflated? Because someone “thought” they were deflated? I am curious.

Well, I can understand it being the only game on. When I was in the military, I often had to endure games I didn’t want to watch if I were to get any NFL news at all, in those days before the Internet.

As for responding, it is a personal choice to respond or not. You don’t have to respond to me if you don’t want to. I won’t be offended if you don’t, but really, you should observe the conservative value of taking ownership of your own actions.

If you don’t want to discuss it, why did you join FR and post in here?

Well, as for OJ, I think those blood spots around the outside of his own house and on the inside of his car would be enough for a “reasonable man” to convict him, and we pretty much knew the game was up (as Clinton himself did) when that blue dress came on the scene.

I know you were just making a point, but if you have to parse the meaning of the word “is”, you are already joined at the hip with Bill Clinton.

Ownership of what action are you talking about?

Brady smashed his phone, behaved like the high school jock who got away with something, and had texts with a guy who called himself the deflator. In addition, the deflator went inside a bathroom with the footballs. That was illegal in of itself.

Are you one of the patriot fans whose only book they read since high school was the Wells Report?

I post on here, because I generally like reading the comments and most on here are relatively like minded on most political articles. this isn’t a political article, unless you consider the fact that the cheating Qb of the cheating Patriots is wasting the court’s time.

I was talking about your ownership of your own actions, of watching games you didn’t want to watch, or responding to posters you don’t want to respond to.

It was Brady’s phone to do with as he wished. It is irrelevant, and given the way he has been slandered, he would have been a fool to surrender his phone to the NFL.

I consider myself reasonably well read, though I have difficulty reading now because my eyes are getting so bad. But I do know enough about these things to have actually run through the ideal gas law myself and plug in the relevant components before that aspect became newsworthy, though I admittedly made the same mistake most people did the first time I did it, and was only to do the calculations correctly after I knew what the mistake was, not quite an obvious one, but a significant one.

No, I can read.

As a conservative, I understand that the efforts of the courts aren’t (or shouldn’t be) restricted to the famous, the rich, or the powerful, and that a individual’s principles to uphold are just as worthy of judicial review as some corporation that has a lot of money and power.

I imagine if you were docked one quarter of your income or your life’s savings unfairly, not to mention your reputation, you wouldn’t just express the equivalent of Bill Clinton’s “just put some ice on it”. You might fight it out too.

I think it is a worthy case, much in the same way “Citizens United vs FEC” was a worthy case. Liberals don’t think the money spent by Citizens United was worth a hearing at the Supreme Court, but I do.

It isn’t the money. It’s the principle.

"You sound like a typical Democrat who runs to the courts..."

Don't be an ass - it's only a game.
The point was that there was no proof of guilt ever shown. He was accused based on heresay and innuendo, and a little circumstantial evidence, but waaay shy of what would be required in a court of law.

The dude humiliates defenses around the league - that's the only reason some people are happy about this. It's NOT good for the sport.

I did watch the games. I just rooted against the Patriots. Generally, I would have rather watched another game. However, I watched enough Patriot games to know how their fans behave at games. They boo heavily when they are not winning.

I believe he did cheat, we will never agree on that.

I didn’t mean that you were illiterate or cannot read. However, I find it amusing that so many people wasted their time reading the Wells Report instead many many better books.

About his pay being docked. If he was innocent, I would care. However, I find it hard to believe that he is. The NFL has been playing for about 100 years, and suddenly this is a problem. Give me a break.

"Then don’t cheat."

Usually spoken by someone whose team got humiliated by Brady.
