I voted for Cruz. He chose Jeff Roe. He allowed surrogates to start the nastiness between them. I told everyone six months earlier that hiring Roe was a bad mistake.
Last night he had the room in his hands. He could have been the bigger man and erased hard feelings against himself and against Trump to help insure a Democrat defeat. He chose not to be the long term thinker and in petulance killed his career. Hardly Russell Kirk who wrote the Politics of Prudence centered around the “art of the possible.”

If Hillary wins I will blame Cruz (in part). I will not be looking to this non-NBC Constitutional hypocrite to rescue us.

Either of those goals are far in the future — how about insuring Hillary’s defeat in November?

Good strategy, but not good for the country.
I pray that it was personal, and not a strategy, as that would make his fault anger or pride, but not malice.
Someone, I forget who (maybe Pat Buchanan), wrote a column demonstrating that those who stuck with Goldwater reaped dividends later, Nixon in particular. Those who jumped ship or attacked Goldwater politically disappeared (Scranton, Romney Sr., Rockefeller was appointed VP in the wake of Agnew/Watergate, but had to be dropped from the '76 ticket).

Cruz is not that popular or powerful.
He's certainty not powerful nor popular, but it doesn't take much in razor-thin battleground states.

What about the Supreme Court nominees that Hillary will nominate? 2020 will be to late. Cruz needs to worry about 2018.

With the RINO-virus infection, already on life support.

[We need to draft Gov. Perry to run against Cruz.]
How about Louis Gohmert? I know he was a big Cruz backer, but c’mon, how can ANY conservative support Cruz after what he just did??
To: mirvin
Cruz was booed in part because he was leading us by the content of his speech into concluding that Trump would be endorsed by him.
Cruz pulled a Comey.
To: CMailBag
Nah, it will just go back to being Democrat Lite.

All the Texans I have spoken to dont take kindly to not pickin up a gun and join the fight when the indians have you surrounded.
Principles are fine but dont win elections, if your looking for the PERFECT candidate you will never find them and never win an election.
GO TRUMP!!

Perry is liked and has name recognition. IMO, best chance to GET CRUZ OUT.

If it’s Cruz vs The Former Twelfth Lady in ‘20 I will, for the first time in my life, stay home. Although I voted for him in the primary Cruz is now dead to me.

I wouldn’t vote for that little $hit Cruz for men’s room attendant.
Cruz will probably off himself when Trump wins this November. No loss.
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
It’s an insane strategy because if the next 4 are like the last 8 CONSERVATIVE will be as ancient and as relevant as the word Groovy!

But, wasn't Cruz referring to Trump in the sentence I highlighted? Why would anybody question Cruz on who he was talking about?
