That G tuning is pretty dang fun, though I use all six strings; but I see why he only uses 5, that 6th just bottoms out and can get in the way.

I like to mix things up with open tunings. Duane Allman did most of his playing in open E. Little Martha and Sweet Melissa are easy to play in open E.

IMOH, the king of alternative tunings is Billy Gibbons. Some of his stuff is just made up.

I’ve seen the Stones 4 times in concert, two on different farewell tours, but they keep coming back. They wrote a view great tunes.

But you’re right, I guess I was just in a bad mood. One time I took off for a week from work to party for a RS concert.......
