What part of the USA did this occur in?

Nathanial Johnson had grown tired of the burglaries at his mobile home in the small town of Leroy, Ala., about 60 miles north of Mobile.

You probably could have looked this up on your mobile phone. Or just read the first line in this article. ;-))

Punville.

“He began to tie him to the tree still in the standing up position,” Stringer told WALA

Voilà..

For when you really need to be sure:

If you've never used this stuff, a quick tip: wear gloves. :D

I love their slogan. “Spare the duct tape, spoil the job.”

Told the cops he didn’t intend to kill the man when he taped his airways shut. No reasonable prosecutor would charge him with a crime

Worked for Hillary

Yep probably could have had it been in the posted part. But it wasn’t.
Thus either ask or go looking.

“He doesn’t bother anybody...”

Of course not. He just prefers robbing people in the neighborhood..it's no bother to anyone. How damn dumb can people be to make such comments?

That was the homeowner's niece, referring to her uncle, Mr. Johnson. Mr. Gulley, late of Leroy, Alabama, was the decedent. The way the story is written it's confusing, granted.

I would ask for no grand jury and Comey to investigate it. No intent for sure.

"Nathanial Johnson had grown tired of the burglaries at his mobile home in the small town of Leroy"

I wonder if the burglaries will now mysteriously stop?
