A mural in the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia recently garnered international attention as none other than Hillary Clinton was featured in a bikini, carrying $100 bills. Evidently, the politically correct police promptly came and out and denounced such a sacrilege. According to the Guardian, the local council said the mural “contravened its gender equity policy.”
“We believe that this mural is offensive because of the depiction of a near-naked woman, not on the basis of disrespect to Hillary Clinton, and it is not in keeping with our stance on gender equity,” the council chief executive, Stephen Wall, said. “We contacted Victoria police to provide their opinion on the matter, and they deemed the mural to be offensive and in contravention of the Graffiti Prevention Act 2007, which [the] council is responsible for enforcing.”
The local artist, known as Lushlux, was threatened with prosecution and fines if he did not remove the mural. He complied, but not quite as expected by the local bureaucrats.
In an ironic turn of events, Lushlux decided to depict Hillary wearing a burqa, and left a message for the ultra PC, hyper-sensitive government folks. “If this Muslim woman offends u, u r a bigot, racist, sexist Islamophobe.” Be careful what you wish for...

And of course the ultimate punchline for the story: The wall was completely painted over the next day.
Nothing like tolerance, huh?
Limiting free speech because it is offensive to someone is like saying a politician can not be elected unless he gets 100% of the vote.
So we’re back to putting fig leaves on Michaelango’s “David”?
Not a bikini, but the burqa sure cleans her up well.
And those $100s sticking out of her pocket must represent bribes, ‘cause nobody is going to slide that kind of money into her suit for her looks.
Now the painting needs large dark sunglasses to cover those crazy eyes.

Art can hurt sometimes, and both the "Before" and the "After" pics are definitely hard on my eyes, but the artist is genius.
How about just a nice coat of white paint? Now, I know people wouldn’t think that was art, but I’ve seen real art that was pretty much like that. Just call it “White Brick Wall.”
