Construction worker gets stuck inside twisting cement mixer

NEWTON, Mass. —A worker in Newton suffered serious injuries Thursday afternoon when he slipped and fell into a cement mixer at a construction site.
Officials said bags of cement were stacked in the basement of an apartment building currently under construction on LaGrange Street when the unidentified worker, who was on the bags, somehow slipped and fell into the mixer.

His leg then got wrapped around a twisting auger in the mixer, and it took rescuers at least two hours to free the man from the mixer.
Rescuers said the worker was in a lot of pain and remained conscious throughout the entire ordeal.
The worker was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
"Doc, how is he?"
"I'm not gonna lie to you. It's bad."

... the unidentified worker, who was on the bags, somehow slipped and fell into the mixer. It's that "somehow" that'll get you every time. Why can't they just report it straight, that he slipped and fell into the mixer. Inquiring minds want to know the "somehow" bit, was he pushed?
