Ann Coulter Criticizes Donald Trump's Immigration Plan, Blames Roger Ailes
ABC News ^ | Aug 25, 2016 | Liz Stark

Ann Coulter did not hold back when talking about Roger Ailes on this week’s episode of “Powerhouse Politics” podcast.

Coulter, who this week published her book, “In Trump We Trust,” blasted the former CEO of Fox News, who she suspects might be behind Trump’s latest immigration plan.

“[Trump] seems to be getting contradictory advice. I’ve seen these rumors he’s now being advised by Roger Ailes, the former head of the Marco Rubio super PAC known as Fox News. Suddenly he’s sounding like Rubio,” said Coulter.

“He was using all the clichés from the Gang of Eight bill,” she continued. “I don’t know who he’s getting it from, but the idea that his base is not going to mind is nonsense. And the idea that it helps him with anyone is nonsense.”

Speaking with ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl and ABC News Political Director Rick Klein, Coulter explained her frustration with the latest shifts in Trump’s immigration plan.

“I am trying to encourage Donald Trump to dump whomever the moron is who told him Americans are staying up at night worried about how people who broke our laws entering, broke our laws staying here, broke our laws taking jobs, how comfortable they are,” Coulter said.

“Ann trying to get the Trump train back on track”

Trump’s train isn’t off track. Methinks Anne erred in assuming what she was being told was accurate. “We will enforce the law” works for me & that’s exactly what Trump has been saying since day one without ever wavering.

Vote Trump 2016

Eric Trump said his father’s stance is “evolving” and developing. He hasn’t come out with a coherent, definitive stance because it is still in flux.

If she was that good, Trump would have her on his staff. Before going all MSM she should wait to see what he lays out next week.

There are some political realities that need to be considered. Dems brought in illegals to give them the vote to defeat the Republicans. You have to accept that reality and try to come up with something to offset it.

More than anything we do not want a Hillary presidency. Maybe rich girl just doesnt get that. She will do ok whoever wins

Trump is stinking with his original plan.

One misplaced word even after setting the record straight several times, the media still blabs BS over several news cycles.

“What Trump is saying is the same as what McCain, Ryan, and Rubio said when they were promoting their amnesty plans.”

Trump is not talking about amnesty. He declares daily, usually on multiple occasions :”We’re going to enforce the law.” That’s a very unambiguous declaration of intent. Sadly, for some it’s never enough.

Well, that is not a good answer IMO. Is his plan "evolving" in the same way that the Constitution is a "living and breathing" document?

He says he’ll deport criminals, but lots of them aren’t criminals.

Trump did not change his immigration plan AT ALL!!!

That's correct. Following the law would even be a more radical path than he has previously stated. The law allows a total ban on immigration if he so chooses, for example. All well, everyone has their favorite sound bite I guess.

Right, a new position.

How about a consolidated, clear position. A reissuing of his position he’s had from the start. Secure border, criminal illegals gone, no amnesty, ENFORCE THE LAW AS IT STANDS TODAY!

“I can’t believe Coulter is piling onto this BS!”

Me either. I never figured Ann for a bed-wetter.
Trmp knows exactly what he’s doing: win win win.
`Adios America’ was good, but I’ll hold off on her new book.
Trump fights for us, Ann fights for Ann.
