An FBI-led SWAT team arrested the leader of a Louisiana militia Thursday morning (Aug. 25) in Mandeville on federal charges of dealing methamphetamine and possessing a firearm "in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime," according to the U.S Attorney's Office in New Orleans.
James Moore, 46, of Talisheek, a small St. Tammany Parish community near the Mississippi border, reportedly came to the attention of federal authorities during an FBI Domestic Terrorism investigation.
Federal investigators suspect Moore was dealing "large quantities" of methamphetamine.

BTW, coming out of Talisheek this does not surprise me.
this is a militia meth mess in Mandeville
Funny how the militia Black Panthers members who were armed and blocking a poll station on election day got away Scott free...
Were they selling large quantities of meth?
‘cause they are not of the politically wrong color
I can hardly say that even once.
Who knows. Nobody asked them.
Yep, my first thougth...must be a white guy.
He should have just sold state secrets for access and favors from the government. He wouldn’t have been charged with anything.
Yes they call it fortressing. Its a way of piling on.
Yup. I had a friend that resided on the Mississippi side of the Pearl River near there. The last time I drove through the area, the "town" was little more than a rural crossroads with a clump of older, dilapidated houses and single-wide mobile homes. Maybe a small gas station/grocery store.
It's an area where the blacktop roads are so old that the sun has bleached them as light as concrete - there's little traffic to cause damage to those old backroads. I guess the post-Katrina suburban expansion is rubbing against that area by now.
Is his being a LA militia leader pertinent to the story of a Meth bust?
It’s a headline grabber, nothing else.
Yeah, but I don’t think he had “intent”...
