CJ Beathard Suspended After Refusing to Stand for In Heaven There Is No Beer
Iowa quarterback CJ Beathard has never been one to shy away from standing up for his beliefs. Recently, he risked it all in protest of Iowas traditional victory song In Heaven There Is No Beer.
I’m guessing this isn’t Iowa’s starting QB...or they wouldn’t have suspended him.
Frickin’ satire...
This so-called "millennial" generation is nothing but a bunch of pussyfied mama's boys.
Really...find a damned cause worth protesting, you wussy.
But the name should have given me a clue.
I mean...BEATHARD?...c'mon!
LOL ...
“This so-called “millennial” generation is nothing but a bunch of pussyfied mama’s boys.”
It’s obviously satire, and he’s a big Trump supporter.
you’re a WKU Hilltopper and don’t know the starting QB of Iowa?? It is CJ Beathard, whose grandfather Bobby was a former GM of the Redskins and Chargers...
Beathard is Iowa’s starter and one of the best QBs in the country....But, click on the link.
The suspension will leave him unable to play for Saturdays tilt against Iowa State.
He currently wont miss any additional games, but he also said he doesnt plan to
stand any of the other three times they plan on singing it this season.
Beathard hopes his actions are strong enough to create a movement that would make
Two Pina Coladas by Garth Brooks the new victory song for Hawkeye football.

“Beathard is Iowas starter and one of the best QBs in the country.”
He is indeed! And definitely no snowflake, he played hurt last year towards the end of the season.
One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer is much more inclusive. It's more of a drowning sorrows type of song, so maybe that can be their official song when they lose.
I think it needs to be pointed out that, on the basis of the illustrations in this article, although his taste in liquid refreshment clearly needs adjustment, his taste in girlfriends seems to be working just fine.
But, beer is proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy!
I am an Iowa native, Iowa State alum. CJ damn well better play! I don’t want the Hawkeyes to have any excuses when the Cyclones beat ‘em again!
Good for him.
Roll, Tide.
