Of course the Beast will drop out somehow...Here's my bet on how this will go down....The DNC will ask Bernie, who will nobly and publicly turn down the offer (he CAN be bought by Billionaires). They will slip in Warren...she is the only one that can close the enthusiasm gap.
She can pull back the Trump defectors, create enthusiasm..Biden and Kaine not so much.

While it may be possible to replace Hillary with anyone, it would be difficult to do. Getting someone else’s name on 50 state ballots at this point could be impossible. Hillary / Kaine electors in the Electoral College could be convinced to vote for someone other than Hillary, but that would be unprecedented. If Hillary drops out, Kaine may be the only choice
Someone else’s name does not need to be on the ballot, because the vote is actually for a slate of electors. Also, the ballot deadline for most states is for independent candidates, not the candidates from recognized political parties, who have a different set of rules.

I think Al Gore is too far out of the loop. He also probably would prefer not to deal with his financial entanglements, or attract serious attention to the wheeling and insider dealing that has made him very wealthy (eg, the sale of his leftist network to Al Jazeera, his hedge fund).
