Carnival Cruise Lines is investigating an altercation that took place in a restaurant involving several passengers, which was all captured on video by Irie Namma.
The dispute started with a group of men and women arguing near the buffet line. The fight broke out within seconds, and chairs went flying across the room.
Carnival cruise ship security reacted fast and managed to break up the fight within seconds.
Unfortunately, the incident becomes the third cruise ship fight in 16 days. There was a fight on the Carnival Glory last week. Passengers allege that one person said something "out of line" to another.
Then, two days later on the same ship, another brawl unfolded that was described as a "catfight" between two women.
Witnesses said that the female passengers were pulling each other's hair and scratching in the cruise ship's casino.

Carnival is aptly named.
I worked for a large cruise line, in IT, and would cruise twice a year for work.
You couldn’t pay me to cruise on carnival.
If I cruise now, it’s upscale only.

Went on a Holland American cruise this past spring and had a wonderful time. Never saw ANYTHING like that video showed. People from all over the world were on that same ship and everyone behaved like civilized adults the entire time. Too bad certain folks just can’t control themselves or their tempers.

Just reading the title of the thread makes me think of that video where the woman *throws* a folding cafeteria table - and then catches a folding metal chair (thrown at her in response) with one hand.
Some black co-workers list cruises as things they did under Bush II that they can no longer afford under Obama, so they DID enjoy them - just can’t anymore. In the Caribbean those I met at a resort were normal, polite, well-behaved people; the ferals probably know the cops down there, while the same “color”, will beat the tar out of them if they tear things up.
Royal Caribbean - Alaska inland passage/ glacier tour. BEST cruise ever for family.
Believe it or not, Disney ( in the adult section of the ship ) was THE BEST no-kids-with-us cruise ).
Would do either one in a heartbeat, and recommend both.
