Though not in the habit of posting vanities, I am in dire need of help from FReepers today! I'm in a heated debate with some people who are unsure who they will vote for.
They contend that the Benghazi tragedy happened because the Republican congress cut funding for embassy security and so Hillary is innocent. I mistakenly mentioned a stand-down order and was told thee was no such thing. Not wanting an argument about that much debated issue to cloud the real issue, Hillary, I need help explaining why she was to blame.
Please help.... I'm listening

Tell them thats nonsense as there were MANY MANY assets that could have been there in time an REGARDLESS of funding, assets would have been sent if needed.

The problem about entering a debate with fools is after a couple minutes nobody can tell you apart.
They are Right. Clinton is never at fault for anything.

Agreed. You are wasting your time with trolls. Anyone who knows enough to claim no stand down existed knows better. In fact the two retired SEALS killed were specifically ordered not to go and went anyway and THAT bit has nothing to do with the stand down orders given in Tripoli AND in the Med Fleet.
The Clintons are good for Hollywood. In Mogadishu the soldiers fought all night against impossible odds because Bill Clinton denied them armor despite numerous requests. That was Black Hawk Down, a great movie. In Benghazi the guys fought all night long against impossible odds because Mrs Clinton ordered every rescue mission to stand down; that was 13 Hours, another great movie. You have to wonder, if she returns to the White House, what the next blockbuster movie will be, and which our our kids will star in it.
Explain that when the 3 Am phone call came into the Oval Office, the National Security team including Hillary were there. Øbama ordered his team to “handle it” and went to bed. Hillary’s State Department dicked with the go team’s uniforms THREE TIMES. That was as good as a stand down order, which no one seems to acknowledge happened. Yet there WERE assets available and not deployed. They were HER people. Her responsibility.
The funding issue is a red herring. Ask them why, even with limited funds, Hillary chose to skimp on the hottest hotbed in the Middle East. And while you are at it, ask if any of that missing %6B could have been used.
However the situation came to be, she was at the helm and steered the Ship of State onto the rocks.

State Department headquarters in Washington did refuse repeated requests from its ambassador in Libya for more security personnel. And it decided not to accept an offer from the Defense Department to extend the stay of one of its security units in Libya, reducing the level of security that was available.
We rate Johnson’s statement True.
Their point is a straw man, however, since additional funding from Congress was not necessary to provide additional security. Additional security could have been supplied through shuffling existing funds.
Fact.
If Mrs. Clinton is elected we can hope she will give the stand down order while we burn DC to the ground and hang every politician from the lamp posts.
It was not an embassy, but a CIA gun-running operation which ended up arming ISIS.
Even the traitor did not claim that it was lack of funding but just a demonstration provoked by an internet video.
However, even if there were a lack of funding the US could easily have done what the Brits did - Remove our assets - theirs were no longer in Benghazi it had become so dangerous.
We called off the forces ready to respond to this. It should also be obvious to even the dumbassed Democrat apologists that security forces could have been moved from less dangerous missions to this one.
Saw a good Trump commercial on Benghazi yesterday aired nationwide.
Stevens BEGGED Hillary for more security AND SHE REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO HIM. BTW, WHY HAVEN'T WE SEEN ANY OF THOSE EMAILS OR CABLES FROM STEVENS? HILLARY DELETED THEM BECAUSE THEY SHOW HER COMPLICITY IN HIS DEATH! As a matter of fact, SHE REDUCED his security just prior to 9/11.
BIG PICTURE: 0dunga/Hillary LET OUR PEOPLE DIE. Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty FOUGHT FOR OVER EIGHT HOURS AFTER SMITH AND STEVENS WERE KILLED. THEY WAITED FOR U.S. MILITARY RESPONSE WHICH NEVER CAME.
The resources were available. They were just not deployed.
No funding issues.
You have to make things short and succinct for these people.
